Boating

We had a blast this weekend boating with the Lindermans. Thank you Lindermans! We went out at 1PM which is nap time for Leah. I took the risk since I havnen't been boating for over a decade. I also haven't seen Katie for almost 6 months. The sun was blazing and we are feeling it this morning. Michael is especially red.

I finally convinced Joshua that it would be fun to go on the tube. He did awesome! He loved it! I told him the singal to show when he was ready to get off, whenever I would ask if he was ready he would say I need to go over a few more bumps.

Dallin and Michael went on the tube first. They did great. Then Michael went out and showed off all of his cool moves.

Cute little Lily loved playing with the boys. Gabe her older brother was so great with the kids too!

Dalin went on the tube once and the rest of the time he just enjoyed the ride. You can see Leah's fun life jacket. She hated the life jacket and screamed for the first bit. She napped a little and then was able to enjoy herself.

Joshua says we need to buy a motor boat now. He loved it! Brock was so good about going slow when towing the kids. He was a great driver! We had a wonderful time!

All Dressed Up

Our week has just gone by so fast. We are still dealing with triple digit temps. We are like on day 23 in row with triple digit heat, with no end in sight. Due to the heat we haven't been too exciting this week. Despite the heat the boys love dressing up for Church now. They love to look like Dad. I think they look so handsome in their white shirts and ties.

Leah is wanting to sit up so bad. She lays on her back and lifts her head like a crunch so she can see what is going on. I love it! She will have nice strong abs. She is still not a huge fan of people yet, but when she is friendly everyone falls in love with her. :)

Michael has been busy with work, and yesterday he took the boys to see a clown. They loved it. The boys love spending time with Dad. Joshua got to go to the cheap movie with Michael yesterday. Dallin doesn't like tv/movies all that much and still naps so he didn't go. I am going to run another race, so I trying to run a few times a week. Finding time and energy in this heat has been a challenge, but I never regret it when I go. My next race is only two weeks away.

Dallin's Birthday Bash

Dallin turned three on Friday. We had a wonderful day. We played in the sprinkler in the morning and then had nap time. Dallin requested Dad's pizza for dinner. Michael made yummy pizza. My friend Elise made a delicious ice cream cake. We played gone fishing game all day. Jenny and Tony brought over a pinata. We had a great time trying break it open. Happy Birthday to Dallin. We love him so much.

Michael picked out army men for Dallin's present. They had lots of fun playing war.

The incredible cake Elise made. It was sooo good! Thank you Elise!!!

The pinata was a big hit.

We all enjoyed the candy and endured the heat. Dallin's birthday was the hottest day of the year thus far. 107 degrees

The kids enjoyed their pizza and breadsticks.

In the morning it took a while for the boys to get used to the beach ball sprinkler but they had a blast.

Grandma got Dallin the fishing game. The kids enjoyed playing.

Dallin likes to take his time unwrapping presents. It drives Joshua crazy. :) Dallin got wonderful gifts. He received a punching bag, army men, paint, sheets, beach ball sprinkler, gone fishing game, nice white shirts and ties.
Dallin got a bike. After my kids are fully potty trained they get a bike. Dallin was so easy to potty train. He was awesome. The day of Dadfest he decided he would wear underwear and we haven't looked back since. He is one amazing boy!

4th of July and week

I am going to work backwards for this week. I gave Leah a sippy cup for the first time to see what she would do. The cup just had water. She even drank a little. It helped her to cool off after hanging out with me outside in triple digit heat. The boys were in the pool with friends so they were all cooled off. The triple digit heat is getting a little old, but we are dealing. :)

On the Fourth of July we dressed in our red, white, and blue. The boys were tired in the afternoon after our day of swimming.
We ended the night with fireworks. The boys were excited for them all day. Joshua was still not a fan of the noise, but wanted to go again.
We started the day with swimming. We had a great time swimming. Chicken fighting was involved. Good times! We also had friendly swim competitions and a good game of Marco Polo. It was great having so many adults to swim with. The kids had a great time too and always had someone to play with while Mom and Dad were chicken fighting. :P

Pool Time

We went to a friend's Birthday party yesterday and they had a walk on water feature. They got into these plastic balls and walked on the water. We had a great time.

The boys piled their Capri Suns on my lap. Before I could adjust everything on my lap Leah took hold and started chewing on it. I think she even got a little juice. I couldn't tear it away from her. She loved it. She didn't get much if any juice, but I am sure she could get a taste of it. So funny, this coming from a baby who hasn't taken a bottle in three months.

The boys were nervous at first, but Dallin got brave and went in the water. He liked floating on the water.

Joshua wouldn't go alone so Michael went in with him. Michael said it was really hot in there, but they had fun.

We also finally put up our pool. The first day we put it up the boys were in it for 5 hours! Crazy kids. They love to go under water and run around. They love to practice strokes. It is so fun to watch them be so excited about it.

My boys are water bugs. Leah hated the water. She doesn't like anything but warm bath water. This water is close to that, but she doesn't like it. She screams. Oh well, I guess Leah and I will sweat it out while the boys play in the water.
