Arboretum fun

On Friday we headed to the Arboretum.  Dallin wasn't in a cooperative mood to get his picture taken.  He is so funny.

Leah was dancing around in the wonderful Arboretum grass.  We love the grass there.  Our grass isn't as soft.

We finally got a semi smile from him.

Michael's flag football team took silver on Saturday.  He really enjoyed playing.  I'm sad we missed all of his games.  I guess next year we will have to catch one.

Fall is coming!

We are loving the cooler weather.  It is so nice to open windows.  We can play outside without sweating!  The only downside is that Leah gets herself so messy!  She comes in looking like the picture below more than once a day.  She and Dallin are playing well together.  I am so glad that they are getting along.  Dallin will bring her in and said Leah needs to be cleaned up.  Dallin does not like to be dirty.  Everyone told me girls are easy.  They are clean and like to sit and color.  This girl below does not.  She is always getting dirty.  She is daring and loves going down slides and climbing ladders.

We are also excited for Halloween we have our costumes already.  We wear them around for fun.  Leah isn't going to be a dragon for Halloween but she does like dressing up in one.

Joshua changes out of his uniform first thing.  He does not like polo shirts.  He tells me that they make him sweat under his arms.  ha ha.  Joshua's favorite subject in school is science.  It is the only thing he will tell me about without prompting.

Michael has football games all week.  He is excited for that.  I don't think we will make the games  because they are far away and at 8:30 pm at night.  I am glad he has found something he enjoys outside of normal daily things.  This Saturday he has organized a Scout Merit Badge Academy.  He always keeps himself busy.

Labor Day

Joshua was looking forward to having an extra day off of school.  He tells Dallin that Dallin is so lucky that he gets to stay home and play all day.  Joshua doesn't hate school, but he would rather do whatever he wants.  The first week of school the exciting things he would tell me about was who had wet their pants or who started to puke.  He tells me Kindergarten is too long, and has too many rules.  We had a fun and relaxing Labor Day.  We grilled some yummy hamburgers and had Jenny and Tony come over.  We were suppose to have other guests but other things came up.

Leah enjoyed Joshua being home to so she can dress up in his shoes and back pack.  :)

We played with blocks in the afternoon.  Michael was very proud with how tall her got his tower to be.  Leah even helped and it still didn't tip over.

Dallin was also proud of his tower.  He is doing well adjusting to be the big boy at home.  He plays well with Leah.  He is doing pretty well with our homeschool pre-K.
