Potty Training Break Through

Yesterday Joshua finally went #1 in the toilet several times. It actually gave me hope and encouragement to keep going, not that I was going to give up, but my heart wasn't into it. Today we went to the library, Walmart, and Sam's Club and he has not had one "accident." It has been amazing. I would like to say I have no messes to clean up, but that is not the case, Joshua needs to work on his aim. :) When we went out I kept him in his underwear and put a pull up over the top and both were dry. I didn't want to have to deal with anything so early in the potty training stage. Yeah! Joshua! I am not saying we are close to being done because this could just be a really good day, but it is enough to keep me excited that it will happen soon. :)

On the Phone

I thought this was so cute, that I have to post. It may be only cute to me, but I think Grandma may enjoy it. Joshua was talking to Grandma and Grandpa on the phone for a long time. He was walking around with it and reading a book to them. I turned on the speaker so I could hear, and tried to get a video of it. The video is not great but you will get the general idea. My kids are growing up fast. :)

Spring has Blossomed

This blog is especially for my Aunt Lori, who loves gardens and flowers. We have had flowers blooming during every season, thanks to the previous owners of our house. These are just some of the latest flower that have blossomed. We love to see everything bloom, and hope that we can just keep them alive and make our yard look nice.

We are doing great here. The boys are getting over colds, but sleeping better now. Michael is working hard at work and we are keeping him busy at home with yard work. I am trying to catch up on sleep from the last couple of weeks, and feeling bad for things I may have said. When you are tired it is amazing what comes out of your mouth that you may not really mean. I am trying to get better at it. The older you get I think the more flaws you see in yourself. I am sorry if I did offend anyone, I promise you that was not my intention. Other than that we are enjoying the weather, and loving life.

9 Months!

Dallin turned 9 months on tax day! He is getting so big. These pictures are comparing Joshua and Dallin around 9 months. Dallin is 30 inches tall, and weighs just over 20 pounds. He also had to get his blood drawn to test lead levels and what not. He was not so happy about that, but we survived. He is crawling and is now working on his fourth tooth! He pulls himself to standing all of the time. Currently he is suffering from ear infections, but he is still happy. Joshua and Dallin are playing great together, well most of the time.

Joshua is doing great as well. Recently he has been asking to go the zoo with Dad. Now his new thing is that he wants to go car shopping. Michael likes to go and look at cars. Eventually, someday down the road we would like to get another vehicle, so Michael likes to stop and look at cars. It is one of Joshua's favorite things and he left the dealership crying. Who knew car shopping was so exciting to a 2 year old.

Happy Easter

We had a great Easter. I think Joshua has enough candy to last him for a year. Church was great today, and the music was wonderful. The Meager's came over and hid eggs for us and Joshua got to hunt for them. He loved it! Thank You! It was so fun! We then went to see baby ducks. We also did another egg hunt for Joshua today. He was running around the back yard yelling at the eggs to come to him. It was funny! I hope everyone had a great Easter!

We Miss Jenny Already!

We had a great week! Jenny came to visit us, and we all had a blast! We were so busy and did so much. I am now so exhausted. I am sure part of the exhaustion has to do with the fact that Dallin is teething and screamed in the middle of the night for the last week. The tooth has finally cut and now the other is looking like it might come through on the top. Dallin also started to crawl on all fours, and he started to wave while Jenny was here. He would only wave to Aunt Jenny, but today I got him to wave to me. :)

Joshua has asked about Aunt Jenny several times after she left. He was sad to see her go. He loved to spend time with her and show her all of his cars. She taught him to say "Oh Yeah!" We get to here that a lot now.

Jenny was a big help especially when the boys decided that it would be fun to spit out their binkies and stay up for hours after bed time. It is nice to see them play together, but not after bed time. :)

We had an extremely busy week. I have also started to watch another little boy. I was proud that we took on the extra little cutie and accomplished all that we did this week. The money I make watching the little boy is going towards my new vehicle fund. :)

The last thing we did before Aunt Jenny left was dye Easter eggs. Joshua did a great job helping.
We went to the Science Place on Friday. We had so much fun. It was nice to have an adult to each child, as Joshua likes to fun away and be independent. He loved playing with everything there.
There was a little section in the backyard for 2 and under. Dallin had a blast crawling around on the mats. He is getting so strong, and sooo cute!

We went to the Arboretum on Wednesday. We had so much fun. It was the perfect day! We even ran into friends! They have a great exhibit up now, and the kids loved it. I didn't see them last time because we had to leave to put the kids down for a nap.

I thought Jenny and Joshua looked cute just relaxing staring off into the lake.

Joshua was playing in the water. He was pretty much soaked, but he looked so cute doing it, especially in his new cute clothes!

We went to the Zoo on Tuesday. Michael actually came with us. It was quite the adventure.

Jenny and Joshua had fun monkeying around. We had so much fun looking at all of the animals.

We love you Jenny and were so glad that you came for a visit. We had a blast!
