Video Happenings

Joshua preformed at the PTA meeting.  He did a great job.  I love to see him sing and participate in programs.

Dallin is doing great with his bike.  I will have to post a video another day of him cruising on his bike.

Leah is starting to be a little more brave a take a few steps every now and again.  I just thought I would share a video of her trying out her legs.  :)

Busy Season

It is my busy season, so I find myself having a hard time remembering what even happened during the week. We are still here and doing well.
Joshua has another preformance coming up tomorrow. He is singing at the PTA meeting. I am excited to see how he does. It was nice having the day off today. We played at the park all morning, and hit up the grocery store after nap time. It is fun having Joshua home.

Dallin is all camera shy, but super cute. He is such a good brother. He keeps asking about starting school. Poor kid has to wait one more year.

I think every kid needs a messy spaghetti picture. Leah sure does love spaghetti. She must get that from Michael. :)

Kid Update

It has been a really busy week, so not many pictures were taken.  It has been a really good week however.  I will just give you a brief update on the little ones.

Joshua is doing so well.  He is doing great at school.  He is so much more confident that ever before.  He is starting ride his bike more and very fast.  He will stand and walk on a balance beam now.  All of these things he would have been too scared to try before.  He is just growing so much!  He is learning to read, and getting ready for kindergarten.  We are in the process of trying to get him into a magnet school.  I really hope  he gets in, but I am sure he will do well where ever  he is.  Joshua just learned to swing on his own.  He loves it.

Dallin is doing well also.  He is working on his alphabet.  He is also working on writing his name.  He can be so helpful.  When it is time to clean up or something needs to be done he is usually always there to help.  He looks up to his big brother.  On Wednesday I went to the Pharmacy and the Pharmacist was so sweet.  She acknowledge the boys and said hello how are you.  Dallin just says "I don't like people."  The Pharmacist was really sweet about it, but I was embarrassed.  Dallin loves to be the first one to talk to Leah after she wakes up from her nap.  She loves it too.
Leah is doing well.  She is measuring at 30 inches tall which is the 75th percentile.  She is only 19lbs, which is like the 25th percentile.  Who would have guessed she was in the 25th percentile with those cheeks.  :)  She only says a few words Mom, Da, and Hi.    She did say Wow and Tada once.  She also does thing where she says what I understand to be "What's that" and points to something.  She understands quite a bit.  She is feeling much better after having Roseola and then a nasty ear infection with a perforated ear drum.  She will only take like two steps, but loves to walk behind anything that moves.  She also doesn't like people all that much.  She is getting a little better.  She will smile at strangers but strangers can't pick her up or she will cry.  She loves when her brothers let her play with them.  She loves making car noises and running a car around on the ground.  She also loves hugging her baby doll.  She will not keep a headband on.  This is the only shot I could get with the headband on.

Happy Birthday Leah!!!

The day started out early. I headed out to a 5 mile race, which is my longest so far. It was so cold and windy. I am actually very proud of myself! hee hee! The boys ran the 1k again. Dallin actually ran by himself. He did however turn around early when the other kids were coming back. He is so cute, and I am proud he did it by himself this time. Joshua and Dallin both did well and they recieved medals and trophys, which they are so proud of.

Dallin insisted on doing a mad face. Silly boy!

Leah is finally feeling better. Grandma Rasmussen got her this fun water table. The boys loved that she was sharing with them.

We of course made her a very chocolate cake. She loved it. She loves her chocolate! I guess she may get a little of that from me. ;)

We are so glad this little girl came into our lives. She is so happy. It is so fun to watch her grow and learn.

Elise made really cute balls, hippo, and hair accessories for Leah. She loved them. She had a great Birthday! She didn't want the day to end. It took some convincing that it was past bed time. She has a webiste of her wonderful products if you are interested. http://www.elisemade.blogspot.com/
