Birthdays and Spring time Fun!

This was Michael's big Birthday present. He was very excited when he got the go ahead. I think he went to like five different stores. Our converter box went out, so we had a good excuse. The boys gave Michael a Britta pitcher. He has been wanting one for a while. We got up and made him breakfast and made him lunch to take to work. At work he got cake for his Birthday. When he got home from work, we had pizza and strawberry short cake. It was delicious. Michael spent the rest of the night playing with Legos.

On Saturday the Relief Society Stake was able to go the Arboretum. We had a great time. The flowers were beautiful. It was the perfect weather. While, Jenny and I had fun Michael got to watch six boys. He is so great for doing that for me. He even fed them lunch and made a spot at the table for the bear.
The boys before Church. They look so handsome. We are practicing to see if we can get some good pictures to hang on our wall.

Here is us just before Church. All dressed up and ready to go. I am just impressed we are all looking. Michael gets to go to Utah this weekend for his Grandma's funeral. I am excited he gets to spend time with his whole family! This is the first time they have been together since 1999. I am glad he gets to go. Michael booked his ticket to visit for fun the day before his Grandma died so we didn't think we could make it but thanks to Michael's brother he gets to go up twice to visit. We are so blessed.

Happy Birthday Michael!

I will do pictures of what he got and what we did later, but I just wanted to say Happy Birthday. The boys and I love you very much. You bring happiness to us all. We feel so blessed to have you in our lives! The boys are so excited when you get home and when you play with them. They look up to you and you are a great example to follow! I love how much you care for us and how hard you work. You always have such a good attitude and always make us laugh. Thanks for putting up with us! We hope you have a wonderful Birthday!

Spring 2010

Our Spring started off with a little snow! The boys went out to enjoy what will most likley be our last snow for a while. I was very suprised to see so much snow, especially since 48 hours before we were enjoying tempatures in the 70s. We went to Chuck E Cheeses on Saturday. It was so packed, since it was so freezing outside, I guess everyone else wanted to do fun things inside too. Joshua enjoyed the racing games and Dallin just enjoyed the slide. We did have a good time and we helped a little friend of ours celebrate his second Birthday!
The weather is warm again so we are back to playing at the parks and in the back yard. We played t-ball the other night, so I thought I would show the grandparents are little ball players. I also have a video of Joshua practicing his alphabet. He doesn't like to show off for the camera so it was like pulling teeth to get him to try to sing the alphabet, as you can tell from the video he is not that interested. :)

March Camping Trip

We had a great time camping last weekend. We tried out a new State Park. We camped right near a creek. We went with our good friends.

The guys made a great meal. The ribs were so good, I ate more than my fair share. Michael's potatoes weren't quite done, but we were rushing them due to the ribs being done. The scones were great in the morning though.
The boys played horseshoes and the kids loved to watch. It was so cute to see them all interested.
We hiked along the creek. The kids did pretty well. Dallin wanted to be so independent. The kids loved to throw rocks in the creek. They had a great time. We can't wait until our next camping adventure. We want to thank our friends for going with us it is fun!

Playing Hard

We have had beautiful days here. We are enjoying the sunshine. We have been enjoying biking and picnicing. We love the spring here in Texas!
Taking time out to relax. I was suprised to see them just laying around, but they were up soon, to start to make messes.

We put together a bed for Aunt Jenny. This is the box from the bed.

My boys like to play this little tackle game. It is so funny and so far no tears from it.
