All about Michael

Michael had his painting class this weekend.  He really enjoys spending time with people and teaching them how to paint.

Michael went to Arizona this week, and this was his rental car.

It looks like a rough life away on the road for him.  ;)  He sent me this picture after I had a rough day.  I was a little jealous.  ha ha

Michael brought back a hair bow for Leah that Aunt Nicole made.  She loves it!  The rest of our week was filled with school, soccer, and board games.  :)

Building our Garden and Sleeping under the Stars

The kids helped us build a little raised garden bed.
They actually really enjoyed it.

Evan even got in on the action and wouldn't let me help him much with the tire.

We planted a few seeds.

The kids really loved planting and watering the garden. I am hoping we actually get a little harvest.  Joshua's class at school has their own green house and they got  a whole salad out of the garden that they grew.  I am hoping we'll get something to eat.  :)

The kids have been begging to sleep on the trampoline.

We finally did it on Friday night.

They were tired on Saturday, but had a great time.

Spring Sports and Conference

Jenny, Nora, and I raced yesterday.  Evan did the kids race.  He was so excited about it.  It was exciting because we all placed in the race.  It doesn't happen often.  :)

Our first soccer game was on Saturday.  Joshua and Dallin scored lots of goals.  Leah had fun. I left early for the race, so Leah wasn't awake yet.  She didn't get her hair done.  Michael gets nervous doing hair.  ha ha   Michael is coaching both teams again.  He has a good mix of players on both teams.  It should be a good season.

We have our church's General Conference this weekend.  We get to listen to our Prophet and Aspostles.  Michael and Leah are listening while playing chess.  :)

We also got yummy cinnamon rolls this morning.

Michael turned a year older this weekend.  We got him a remote control boat.

They all had a blast playing with it in the creek.  It really is great having this in our backyard.  :)

Michael got a great gifts and had both our sister's families over for dinner.

We went to see Batman vs Superman.  It was a great day!
We are also expecting our last little boy!  He is looking good and measuring right on.
Michael wanted vanilla cake so I surprised the kids with blue cake so they would know they are expecting another brother.  Poor Leah, was a little sad, but she will know how to handle boys for sure!

We had a great time at the Easter egg hunt on Saturday that my sister hosts.

The weather was perfect.

The food was delicious!

You can see how much Evan enjoyed it!

Kids Easter baskets ready to go for today!

The kids found their eggs and are busy getting hyped up on candy now.

We are so grateful for Easter and to remember our Savior and all He has done for us!  He is Risen!  I am looking forward to hearing our kids sing and in Church today.

Exploring the Yard

Our Stake had a pinewood derby so Joshua tried out his car there.  He ended up fourth.

He did a great, and enjoyed it!

We have had excellent weather this week.  After school and homework the kids wanted to go out to the creek every night.

Our backyard is so fun.  We throw rocks and sticks in the creek.

We explore the trees and find all kinds of "cool" things that the kids collect in piles outside.  We are very blessed to live where we can just do this in the backyard.  I love that they would rather play at the creek than video games, although, they do love their video games.  ha ha

Spring Break

It rained all week during spring break.  When there was a break in the rain, we jumped on the trampoline and tried to get outside.

We had a movie night, with pop corn.

We traveled to Oklahoma to visit with friends.  We had a blast at the Air Force Base park.

It was great to hang with our friends!

They showed us the airplanes.  The kids always pick up from where they left off.

The weather was great on Friday.  We camped out in their backyard, and it rained a little.  It was a great weekend!

They treated us to yummy gelato.  It was great to hang out and spend time out of Texas for a minute.

Joshua Play

I just thought my kids looked great for Church so I had to take a picture last week.  Since Evan is 3 he has now been added to our chore chart.  He is excited.  It is more work for me now, but it should pay off when he gets older.  :)

Joshua has his PTA musical preformance.  He had to dress up as a doctor.  We enjoyed watching him perform.

Here is a little taste.

On Saturday it was a gorgeous Spring like day.  Michael wanted to test out the sprinklers in our yard.  The kids decided they wanted to test them out too!
