Christmas parade and Micah is back.

Leah had her Christmas program.  It was so fun.  They played all kinds of instruments.

She had a speaking part and did amazing.  Ms. Todd is awesome!  She really did a great job with the kids and their songs.  I really hope Evan gets her next year.

We went to the Christmas parade in Rowlett.  It was fun!

Micah, Michael's cousin just got home from his mission.  We went over to his Uncle's house to have dinner and hung out with the West side.

Michael's cousin Adam and his family recently moved to Texas.  We had them over to spend the night.  It was so fun to have them all play together.

They played at the park downtown.

Michael and Adam had a great time catching up.

Joshua's Birthday and other celebrations

Joshua earned his Arrow of Light.  He got his arrow and was so excited about it.  We are proud of his hard work.

Aaron likes to sneak in the fridge and eat tomatoes.

The boys had their honor choir concert.  They sounded great. It is so fun to watch and their teacher does a great job with them.

Dallin is on his school's robotics team.  He has his first competition coming up.

Aaron is my busy body.  He just had his 15 month check up.  He is doing great, but didn't gain much weight.

Joshua turned 11 yesterday.  I can't believe how fast time is going.  He is a great older brother.  He is smart and helpful.  He wants to go into the science field.  We are so proud of him and all that he is.  We are blessed to have him in our family.

He loves the strategic games.

He wanted chocolate lasagna for his cake.  Michael made it once before, and Joshua loved it.  I had Michael make it again for him.

Joshua got great presents!  He has played with them all.

We had a gift dropped off at our house on Friday.  We love it all.  I asked the kids to hold their pillow, but Aaron had a different idea about his pillow.  ha ha.  I thought the picture turned out great for my five.

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  We had our sisters in the area come over for Thanksgiving.  Everyone contributed and had a great time.  The above picture is Aaron helping crush graham cracker crust.

We had a nice spread of appetizers.

We had a wonderful dinner and have so much to be thankful for.

We love it when the Clark's come.  They always have fun things to draw with.

It is fun to have everyone over and playing.

We hung out with the Williamsons on Friday.  It was so great, and we miss them!
We played at Kid's Kingdom on Saturday.

This is a really neat park in Rowlett.

We celebrated Tony's Birthday on Saturday. I got him these rocket copters.  They light up.  We had a good time shooting them off.

Awards, Play, and Day Camp

Leah made silver honor roll and was the science sleuth.  She was so excited to get her awards.  The Science Sleuth award goes to the student with highest grade in Science in the class.

Joshua made silver honor roll as well.  He gets to tour middle school and start figuring out his electives for next year.  I can't believe he is going into middle school.

Dallin made silver honor roll.  I couldn't get a close picture because Aaron had enough after sitting through two previous awards assemblies.  I am excited to see Dallin's upcoming Vex Robotics competitions.

Dallin has his music/play program

Dallin played the base.  He enjoyed playing the instrument.

Aaron was making friends during the program.  He was so sweet with this girl

The boys had a day camp where they learned how to prepare first aid kits.  They cooked over a fire.  The boys also went on a hike, and had to set up and take down a tent.

The boys had a great time and really enjoyed scouts.

Ray Roberts Camping

We finally snuck away for a quick camp out.  The kids have been begging to go for a long time, but soccer and other obligations were in the way.  We finally decided to skip on some things and just went.
The boys helped cook dinner.  They really enjoyed helping.  It was great how they helped out with this camp out with set up and take down, and cooking.

The kids always have fun with the glow sticks.

I was there too.  I was a little worried camping with Aaron.  He is a curious and determined boy.  I was setting up stuff in the tent and he figured out how to unzip it and get out.  I had to keep him from the lake and the fire.  We all survived.  lol  He went down great at 7:30pm.

The kids love it when Dad tells stories.  They will all sit around and listen to his stories.

Evan loves Marshmallows.  He said it was his favorite things about camping.

They had a kids fish pond we walked too.

The bigger kids went on a little longer hike.

We didn't lose any kids in the pond.

The beach is where the little ones hung out while the bigs kids went on a longer hike.

Aaron was so tired i thought he would sleep in the sand.  lol

We had a great time!

Six Flags

The kids had fun at Six Flags on Saturday with their cousins and friends.

Evan turns out to be quite the dare devil.

The boys spent the night at the Clark's house for Thomas's Birthday and had a great time, and even more fun the next day at Six Flags.

A little time on the train.

Leah enjoyed playing with her friend.

We also count this as part of Joshua Birthday celebration.  It is Raytheon day at Six Flags so it is closed to the general public.  The lines are shorter and the kids love it!

They all came home telling stories about how great it was, and slept in until 7 this morning.  yea!
