This and that

Evan is crazy.  He really wanted to buy squirt guns and ended up settling for spray bottles because they hold more water.  Then he decided to fill up the pool.  It was like 63 degrees outside.  Crazy boys!  Evan tested for magnet schools on Saturday as well. He told me he won the test.  ha ha  We will find out official results sometime in May.

Leah got her hair cut.  She was really nervous because she loves her long hair, but I hope by cutting it will come back thicker.  She looks cute regardless.

I know this pic is blurry but this boy astounds me with his strength.  He can hang and pull his feet to the top of the bar, while straight.  He can almost do a pull up.  It is crazy the amount of muscle this kid has.

5K Foam Fest

Michael and I did the 5k Foam Fest. We did soccer in the morning while watching the Cruz kids while they did the race.  We switched and then Michael and I went to the race.

We had a good time.  It was 88 degrees on Friday and Saturday with wind chill it felt like 36.  ha ha

We ran through the mud and swam through water.  We climbed walls and cargo nets.  We also went down slides.

We had a fun, and now Michael wants me to do Toughest Mudder with him.

Kite flying

Michael took out his kite for a spin during soccer practice. Evan has been begging every day to use Dad's kite.

Evan loves to show me his cool moves on the trampoline.  I will miss these times with him at home.  Next year I lose him to school.  He tests for the magnet program in a couple of weeks, but we do have him registered with the district.

Aaron loves his time on the trampoline too!  He is always impressing people with his athletic ability.  ha ha  He is now drop kicking soccer ball like Joshua does as goalie.  He is pretty good at dribbling the basketball.  He likes to copy me when I work out.

The older kids were busy with school, robotics, soccer, and play this week.  I didn't get pics of them.

San Diego Fun

My wonderful friend Caroline got married, and it happen to land on the start of Spring break.  My Mom was off of work and volunteered to watch the kids.  Michael and I headed out of Texas and went to San Diego.

The wedding beautiful but rainy.  It was fun to see old college friends and acquaintances.
We went around the bay in a speed boat, looking at all of the ships.

Michael had a great time driving the boat.  He was just like a kid.

Michael loved driving under the aircraft carrier.

We loved La Jolla beach.

It was pupping season so we saw little sea lions.  So cute!

We checked out a few different beaches ate lots of local places.  We had a blast, and the kids had fun playing at the park and playing ping pong with Grandma.

Michael fulfilled his dream of going on  an aircraft carrier.  He had a blast.

We spent several hours touring it.

Now on to soccer season and planting out flowers.

Saturday Fun

The sun was out so we were too!  It has been raining a lot around here, so it was nice that everything was drying out a little.

Aaron decided to join in the fun.  He threw a few rocks in and then threw himself in.  lol

After all the rain water comes through it leaves lots of trash so we have to go through and clean up.

Leah practiced riding her two wheels.  She is still pretty fearful.  We will get it some day!

Soccer starts up soon, so I am soaking in the Saturdays where I can run at 8 am and not 5 am.
