Labor Day and Soccer Begins

We had a relaxing Labor Day.  We went to the lake in the morning and hung out in the afternoon at home.

We had fun a the lake.  Lots of sand and it was hot!

The kids can touch pretty far into the lake so they had a nice big area to play in.

Soccer started on Saturday.  Leah and Evan are both playing

They both did a great job!  It was a hot day.

Both teams ended in a tie.

Leah scored a beautiful goal.
Michael coaches Leah's team.  He is such a good Dad to step up like that.  We sure do appreciate him.

These two were getting along and playing great yesterday.  Sometimes you have to document it.  Evan has had a hard time adjusting to going to school and finally I think he is doing much better.  Also I came down with the stomach bug early on in the week.  The kids and Michael did a great job stepping up and helping me out for a day.  The bug got about half of us so I hope we are done now and ready to be healthy.  :)

Welcome to the world

My sister had her baby.  It is so amazing to witness a new life coming into the world.

We also helped take care of  Sariah and Thiago.

We played at the park and rode bikes.  Michael took them to the fish store.

It also rained so we had to take time to to dance in the rain.

Kira got a pool.  We went over while they were filling it up.  The kids had a great time.
Evan has a new skill.  He is riding on just two wheels!

Happy Birthday Aaron!

Aaron had some fun with cousins at the Arboretum.

It has been pretty hot so it is nice to cool off in creek.

Aaron turned 3 this week.  He had lots of cousins over.  We played in the pools.  He had a great time.

We had two full tables.  Grandma and Grandpa West came for the blessing of our newest niece so it was fun to have them around for Aaron's Birthday.

He loved all of his gifts.  This morning he is still squealing with excitement for all of his gifts.

He has a batman blanket he loves and so we made a batman cake.  He really loved being the center of attention.  We loved having everyone here for his Birthday.

School is in Session

We had the first full week of school!

Evan was not looking forward to it.  He hates being rushed and likes to ease into things.  I am hoping this week will be better for him as we establish the new routine and he gets used to getting up and ready.  He likes his teacher and has met friends.

Joshua is in the 7th grade.  He loves band.  He is taking two high school courses and is excited about that.

Dallin is in 6th.  He has enjoyed middle school so far.  He says there are lots of people and feels like he is being shoved to class, but is enjoying it.  He got a different house that Joshua, so they are now in competition.

Leah loves her teacher and has many friends in her class.  She loves English and Reading.

We ended the week with ice cream.

Busy last week before school

We had the Clark kids over to spend the night when Jessica had her new baby.  The kids enjoyed hanging out with them.  They played board games, video games, watched movies, and beyblades.

Saturday was a super busy day.  Dallin had middle school orientation and Joshua had to play at a pep rally.  I had to go back and forth from the middle school three times.  In the mean time Michael took Leah to a baptism and off to a father daughter dance.  Evan and Aaron were invited to a Birthday part so Jenny took them.  I am grateful for the help!

Aaron enjoyed the party.

Evan had a good time too.

Michael and Leah enjoyed eating pizza and dancing.  They went for ice  cream afterwards.

Tomorrow school starts so it should be fun to have a new routine

Family Time!

We went to Southern Utah for a family reunion.

We hiked up the waterfalls. The kids did a great job.

The views were wonderful!

Michael gets really nervous around the edges with the kids.

Aaron was a trooper as well.

Dallin always has the best faces for pictures.

It is so great to have time with the family!

They had a playground at the cabin.  The little ones really enjoyed it.

Joshua, Grandpa, and I went a little further than everyone else on one hike. The views were breath taking.

I was blessed to be married into such a great family!

The cabin was weird, but the kids loved all hanging out and enjoying each other's company.

The drive was so long, but it was worth it.
