Thanksgiving Break

We hit up the zoo with Michael.

It was a little cold, but we had a good time.

We also had Thanksgiving this week.  

I forgot to take pictures but we fed a large crowd.  We did the turkey trot in the morning and at in the evening.

We had a great time with family.

Michael also got to do his turkey bowl with a few of the boys.

We are so grateful for time together as a family!

Camp Out

Evan and Dallin went on a camp out.

They got to ride horses.

They had a great time.

They also learned gun safety.

Kim Palmer is amazing to show the kids and let them ride his horses.

Dallin loves the smell of fire and loved shooting.  Joshua had to go to a band event so he couldn't make it to the camp out.

Halloween and Lousiana

We held the neighborhood Halloween party at our house.  We had a great time.

We set up a little photo booth.

We served food and made smores.

The kids trading candy after trick or treating.

We traveled to Baton Rouge this weekend to check out the temple open house.

We hiked around a swamp while we were there.

We saw like 5 turtles in the water.

They had animals for us to look at.

It was nice to stretch our legs before the drive back.

We loved seeing the temple.

The kids really enjoyed it as well.

We were glad we made the trip.

Eating at Wendy's was a disaster we ended up having two spilled drinks and one kid threw up.  We cleaned it all up, but who puts carpet in the dining room???  

Halloween Fun!

Evan first grade class hosted a carnival for parents and the second grade.  They had to count and collect the fake coins.  All second graders and parents were given fake coins to play and participate in the games.

Evan did a great job he hosted TIC TAC Boom.  This is him playing against our neighbor.

We did our Ward trunk for treat.  Evan was ghost.  He couldn't wear the mask and was disappointed about that.  

Michael and I went as Pam and Jim.  It was fun.

Aaron is batman.

Joshua is Eragon.  

We had a great time at the party.

We also carved pumpkins yesterday.

The kids did a great job.

We also celebrated Birthdays of Max and Victoria.

Party fun

This weekend we played soccer and then headed to the Clark house to celebrate Dustin's Birthday.  I hardly took any pictures this weekend.  We ate and had a good time with the Clarks.  

Next we headed to celebrate Jacob's Birthday.  The kids had a great time.

The weather cooled down this week.  It is so nice to not to be in the 90s.  I decided to retry my half marathon with cooler temps and it was a success!  It was so much easier!  ha ha  

Racing again and Conference

The boys and I raced this weekend.  Joshua ran the mile and Dallin and I did a 5k.

Dallin ran it fast and got another pr.  He is just over an 8 minute pace now.  He finished first place in his division.  Joshua finished first in the mile in his age as well.

I finished first in my age group as well.  Most of the runners did the 15K which allowed me to get first in my age group.  ha ha

We hurried home and to watch conference and comfortably I guess.  ha ha

We love watching conference.

Leah got to stay up late and watch the women's conference this year.  We had my sisters over and ate some treats and watched the conference.
