First day of School and Aaron's Birthday

We started school.  We are two weeks in.  We have had ups and downs, but so far so good.  

We went swimming and rode horses for Aaron's Birthday.

He had a great time.  The party was a perfect way to end summer, even though we already started school.

He asked for a chocolate cake with sprinkles.  He also wanted rolls for dinner.  Easy enough.  He is bright funny, and very active.  He is working on writing his name and the rest of the alphabet as well.  

 

Catching up

We have done some swimming.

We took some hikes.  Michael took the older boys to Utah for a hike so I took the little one on a hike around here.

The older boys ran into snow we were at 104 over here.  lol

Michael and the boys had a great time.  He didn't share too many pics with me.

We did more swimming at Kira's house.

We did our dental check ups with masks.  Good times.

We celebrated Dallin's birthday.  He also went to a water park.  They had a great time.

He was excited about his gifts.

The youth had a water fight at our house.

We have also played lots of games around the house.  

Lake Tawakoni

We went out for another lake day last weekend.

We had a great time.

Aaron loves the beach.  He wants to go back for his Birthday.

Father's Day and Beach

We went to the lake to swim and play.

It rained that morning so the crowd wasn't bad.  We could still socially distant.

We handed out Father's day treats to the Ward.

Michael got a hammock so enjoyed some time on that.

Relaxed week

We have been playing in the little backyard pool.  Our pools are still closed here.

We have been using my Yonana machine to have cold fruity healthy dessert.  The kids make them for a snack almost every afternoon.  

We found an owl in our yard.  

We washed all of our vehicles this weekend as well.  The kids helped out.

Birthday post

Michael bought himself a new car.  He looked and researched a long time and got a great deal on this one.

For my Birthday we had family over and played in the pool and slip and slide.

It was super hot out but we all had fun.

Leah made this banner for my birthday.  Michael grilled fajitas.  They were delicious.  

Month of May

I have slacked off with the blog lately.  I will catch us up with one post for May.

We did some kite flying.

Evan's fish had babies.  They have actually had another set since this now.  He takes such good care of them.  He make sure each one gets some food.

I had a race that went virtual.  I ran a 10k  each mile was under 9 min so that was good for me.  

I wake up really early on Saturdays and get the chance to see sunrises.  I love it!

The teachers did a wave parade.  

Michael married another couple. 

Mother's day we grilled and swam at Kira's house.

I won a training shirt, so that was fun.  I never win anything.  

We enjoyed cookies from a neighbor.  People are so kind.

We have played down at the creek quite a bit.

We have gone to the lake multiple times.

We beat the rain both times so feeling pretty lucky.

The kids built a gigantic sand castle. 

Jenny and Tony have kayaks so we have been having fun with those.

School finished up.  We are excited about doing our own thing.  

We have been bike riding and scootering as well.

We hit up another lake on Memorial Day weekend. 

We fed the family on Memorial Day as well.  

We had a great month.  It was nice to hang with family again.  Mostly we are hanging home and doing our thing.
