Yikes, the last month

This past month has been super busy.  I thought I was busy before in my life but I was wrong.  Michael opened up a Crumbl with his brother and friend.  It is exciting and scary and a lot of work.  Michael has been working his regular job and working over at Crumbl and still Bishop of the Ward.

Leah did a report for Hispanic Heritage month and showed off her work at school.

I snuck in a race early one morning.  Thanks to my sister Kira for taking one of my sons to the soccer game.  I made it for the other two soccer games.  I did much better this year then in 2019 at this race so I will call it a win.

It has been a good year of soccer.  The kids are improving.  Aaron has scored a goal.  Evan is an excellent defender.

Leah is scoring almost every game.  The team is so fun to watch.

Dallin got his braces off.  He hates pictures he has a great smile.

Band fest happened.  Dallin did a great job.  Joshua also performed.  Dallin has also played at middle school football games.

I have watched many band competitions and half time shows.  Joshua's band has improved so much.  They even placed fifth at one competition.  I have had to drop him off at 4 AM one morning.  They work so hard but glad to see if paying off.

We had an hour or two to kill at the soccer fields before the next game so I walked the kids through the Halloween store.  We had a good time.

We had a neighborhood block party.  The police came and showed off their vehicles.

Aaron had a blast.  He currently wants to be a police officer so he had all kinds of questions for the police.

Joshua has had a few swim meets.  He has improved so much.  We are very proud of his hard work.

We attended a few family Birthday parties.

We decorated for Halloween.

Friday night game.  It is so fun to watch the kids do things that they love.

Aaron loves school.  He had western day at school.  He is doing so well.  He tells me everyday at school is a good day.

More of Joshua swimming.  He has been doing the backstroke and free style.

The team competed in a Bands of America marching competition.  This was the proof they gave me. They saw some inspiring bands.

Soccer is back!

They have started construction in our yard.  The City needs to replace a man hole so they are digging and driving all over our yard with a big machinery.

On Friday we all were home.  This is a very rare occurrence.  We all piled in the van and went for ice cream.  I can't even remember the last time all 7 of us were in the same car.  ha ha  Life is crazy.

Soccer started and the kids did great.  Evan insisted on wearing these neon shorts.  He was very easy to spot.  He played well.

Aaron did well too.  He is getting better with each game.  Leah had an awesome game.  I was too into it to take a picture.  She scored a goal on a corner kick.

Evan and Leah started building their robot.  I am excited to see what this season brings.

Labor Day

Joshua had homecoming this weekend.  We all went to the football game to watch him play in the band.  He did a great job and the football team won.

Labor Day weekend we grilled and played games.  I lost an intense game of Smath.

We all went to watch Joshua in march in the parade.

I was too busy yelling and cheering to take a picture of him marching.

All in all we had a good busy week.

Happy Birthday Aaron, Covid, and Happy 15

Aaron wanted shark things for his birthday!  He was so excited for his presents.

This is my attempt at a shark cake.  lol I was short on time and talen.

The kids had a great time unloading 500 balloons.

We had water guns and lots of balloons.  It really helped to cool off in the afternoon.

He was a little sad his class didn't come and sad that his cousins Elizabeth wasn't there, so we will have to get together with Elizabeth another time.
The older boys have been practicing a dance routine for Quincenera.  They were asked to be on the court.

They did a great job on the dance and enjoyed dancing after the official dance.

Michael really enjoyed watching the boys surrounded by all these girls.

It was fun to see them do something out of the box.

The boys looks so handsome!

Covid also hit Mom and Michael.  The rest of us were well.  Michael and Mom were fine too just had to quarantine. They all tested negative within a week.  We are so grateful that everyone is ok.

Aaron started school!

He was so nervous but he loved it!  Now that all of my kids are in school I thought I would have more time to do thing, but that has proven to be very untrue.  lol  Life just keeps getting busier.

Dallin ran the Hot Trot 5k.  He did a great job!  He is planning on going out for track in the spring.
The Hot Trot benefited a fallen Police officer's family.  The lady pictured above was the officer's mother.  She walked the 5k in 2 hours with her walker.  It was so amazing!

Jenny ran a half marathon at the race.  It was so hot, I was so impressed with her running in the heat!

Aaron at meet the teacher.  He warmed up to the teacher pretty fast.

We have to pick up Joshua from swim practice and take him to band practice.  I often find Aaron like this.  School is hard work.

First Week of School

We are back at school!

We were awarded with chocolates from Spain after watching a friend's dog.

Leah got this cute bag.  She loves it.

Joshua leaves for school first and it is still dark out.

Evan and Leah leave an hour later.

The first day of school it was raining.  We couldn't find our umbrellas, our bus stop moved due to construction, and our van was down so we walked and got a little wet.  ha ha

Dallin leaves last.  They all had a good week.

Joshua has been working really hard at band.  We got to see a showcase of what they have been working on.  He really enjoys band.

We had a good  time.

We went to Jessica's for a Birthday.  The kids had fun with VR.

All in all it was a long busy week.
