Halloween, Robotics and end of band

Robotics tournaments have started.

Evan's team made finals this last tournament.

For Halloween I took the younger three to a Haunted House.  They enjoyed it.

Area Band competition was a little rainy but I was so proud of their hard work.

I picked up Mom and Jenny and took them to cheer the boys on.

Evan was a knight for Halloween.  Michael made his armor.

Wednesday, Cousin It and Pugsly for Halloween.

Michael made these swords so the kids have been having a great time.

Our Halloween pumpkins.

Aaron at school counting the seeds in his pumpkin.

The first robotics tournament was a little a rough but they learned a lot.

Aaron's winning pumpkin.

Joshua and Dallin had a high school party at our house.

It turned out better than I excepted.  I was a little nervous.  lol

UIL got all 1s in all areas so we they got a trophy.

Bandtober

I took the older boys to a college fair.  We had fun talking to them about their programs.

Evan has been doing fun projects at the library.  He made this robotic arm.  He as made a submarine, viking ship and pumpkin launcher.  I love the library.

Dallin finished up Cross country.  He took 2 minutes off his 5k.  I am so impressed!
The boys have been working so hard on their marching show.  I am amazed with their dedication and hard work.  I am so proud of how they are handling and maintaining grades and all this time at band.

Aaron is enjoying being goalie.  It drives me crazy.  I have a hard time watching all these kids come at my boy's face trying to kick the ball.  Joshua was goalie too so I should be used to it but I am not.

Evan also tried goalie.  He did a good job too.  He has scored several goals this year too.  He has really blossomed in soccer.

Sun up to sun down I feel like these  boys are working.  This band competition I had to drop them off at 4 am.

Birthday, Soccer, CC, Band

Happy Birthday to my baby boy!  Aaron turned 6!  He is so much fun.  He asked for an alligator cake.

Dallin had taken 2 minutes off of his 5k.  He is doing great!  It is so fun for me to watch and inspiring me to run faster.

We rode horses and swam for Aaron's Birthday.

Kim is an amazing friend that let us use his horses and pool  Aaron had a great time!

It ended up being the perfect day.

We had the party smack dab between cross country and a foot ball game.

He loved all of his gifts!

Labor day we went to the lake.  We played a little volleyball

We grilled some burgers and hot dogs.

we kayaked and paddle board.

We also went to the parade.
We saw our favorite band at the parade.

I made Leah volunteer with me at the football game.  We fill water jugs and collect music.

It was interesting watching the show from ground level.

We started soccer.

The kids all played so well.  I am so impressed with how well they are playing.

We had game night at Aaron's school.

He was so excited to show off the school.

Homecoming came and went.  The boys preformed well and in the full uniform.  Competition season is coming up quick.

I managed to squeeze in one race.  We did it for the medal.  It was fun!  I only missed one soccer game for it, so not too bad.

Beginning of School

The boys danced at a Quinceanera.

They did a great job!

This is their second time doing it and they just keep getting better.

School started.  School starts early for my high schoolers.

Dallin is in this pic but he wasn't cooperating.  lol  They catch the bus really early.

Evan is all by himself at school.  He likes it so far.
Leah started middle school.  She is enjoying it.  She has more homework than before but is adjusting.

Aaron started Kindergarten.  He is so excited about it.  He tell me how much better Pre_K was but he has an excellent teacher and I am excited to see how he progresses.  He is at a different school then Evan so it makes life really interesting this year to have 5 kids at four schools.

Marching band has begun.  This was the parent showcase.  It is amazing how much they learn in a few short weeks.

Freshman induction to band.  Dallin was showered with gifts.

Dallin had his first Cross Country meet.  He did great.

It is so fun to watch.

We had 10 inches of rain fall in day.  It was a rough start trying to stay dry to catch the bus.  We made it and our grass is much greener.  We were grateful we had no flooding.  I know other areas did flood.

July

We played in the pool quite a bit in July

Leah went off to Utah with Michael.  They had a great time!  She loved hanging out with her cousins.

Aaron tried working on his work with his foot.  lol  This kid is entertaining.

We made ice cream with some friends.

For Dallin's birthday we went white water rafting.

We had a great time!  We all loved it!

We hit up the splash pad.

We worked out.  The boys wanted to try out the weights.

We through a few fits.

The older boys had band camp.  They have been working really hard.  I can't wait to see how the show turns out.  It has been so hot around here.
