Scouts and Awards

Joshua went on a hike yesterday with the scouts.  He really enjoys scouts and had a great time.  Michael was there to help out and he seems to enjoy it as well.

Dallin made the honor roll again.  He is an excellent reader and likes his teacher.  He works hard on all of his projects.  We are proud of him.

Joshua also made the honor roll.  He loves science and math.  He needs to work on his handwriting, and isn't in love with grammar, but he's working on it.  He is working on his push ups and sit ups for PE.  We are proud of him as well!

Soccer Season Ending

We had our Church Thanksgiving dinner.  We did a thankful tree. It is always a good time with these two, two year olds.

Soccer closing ceremonies were postponed two weeks due to weather.  The kids all had a great coach and team.  ;)

The boys were undefeated and Leah's team learned lots.  It was a fun season, but I don't mind getting Saturdays back for other things.  :)

We Moved!

We moved into a bigger house for our growing family.  We feel thrilled and very blessed!  We love the house and the little acre it is on.  The kids love the creek.  The neighbors are nice and we are right next to the park.

We even have a fire place in the living room. :)

We made one the second living space into a play room.

I finally have my kitchen unpacked.  Now I just have to remember where I put things.

Our dining room fits our long table.

Happy Halloween!

The kids had to dress up like what they wanted to be when they grew up.  Joshua wants to be a fighter pilot,  but I didn't have that look on hand.  He had to go with his second choice of geologist.  Dallin wants to be a soccer player and his second choice is an engineer.

My kids all dressed up for Halloween.  They were excited!

They went trunk or treating and loaded up on the candy.

Some friends of ours let the kids borrow they really expensive light sabers.  The kids loved them!

It was a great Halloween!

Pumpkins and Program

Jenny had us over to carve pumpkins and eat dinner.  We had a great time!
Leah is going to be Cinderella for Halloween so we made a pumpkin to coordinate.

Dallin made Darth Vader.  He will also be Darth Vader for Halloween.

Joshua made a storm trooper and Evan and Joshua will be storm troopers for Halloween.

The kids enjoyed a show while we carved.

They enjoyed playing outside after the rain stopped.

Rylan helping Michael gut the pumpkins.

Last Sunday we had our primary program.  It was so good!  Joshua volunteered himself for a solo.  I shocked when he volunteered.  He did a wonderful job singing and I was very proud!  The kids did great with their parts and songs!  I love primary!

We had fair day on Monday.  The kids and I went with friends to the Arboretum.  We had a great time at the pumpkin patch.

The goats were hungry and eating lots of green leaves.  Evan wouldn't get close but enjoyed watching the kids feed the kids.

We also went to the concert.  The kids went and danced on the stage. They had a great time!

We also spent lots of time at the park during house showings.  We have done homework and had plenty of dinner picnics there.

We also got to go to the boys awards assembly.  Both boys are on the A honor roll.  Dallin also got the Top Cat award, which is like a citizenship award.  I am so happy with how well my boys are doing in school.  They are well above grade level and there teachers have nothing but wonderful things to say about them.  It warms my heart.

Fall Weekend

Leah wants to be Cinderella for Halloween, so we couldn't pass up the opportunity to go to the Arboretum in costume and take a picture with the coach.  She was in heaven.

Evan and Rylan ran around.  They weren't much into taking pictures.

Leah posed and was happy to take pictures.

This baby didn't do a bad job posing either.

The kids had Friday off so we rode bikes and played at the park.

The kids have tomorrow off too, so more playing with friends!

I also ran a half marathon.  This one was harder for me, because of the summer of sickness.  After pneumonia I had to work my way back, but I finished and it was perfect weather!
