Anniversary

We had porch party at the school to meet the teacher.  We had 6 huge bags of supplies that we hauled for a block.  Evan had to bring a lunch bag because he is feeling left out. Tomorrow will be rough on him.  He really wants to go to school.

Leah looking a little nervous.  She is having a hard time remembering her teachers name, so hopefully by tomorrow she will commit it to memory along with her bus number.

For our 11 year anniversary Michael and I went to a Cowboys game.

We had a great time and the Cowboys won!

We are not good selfie takers but we had to prove that we were there.

Arboretum

Dallin just started scouts.  My boys look cute in their scout shirts.

It was brutally hot for awhile.  We got up to 107, so cup stacking was a fun for us for a few days.

We are getting ready for a baby.  A co worker of mine dropped all of this off for me.  So sweet!  Another friends threw me a baby shower.  It was so nice and unexpected!

While at the baby shower, Michael took the kids to the Arboretum.  They had a great time.

They love this tornado tube.

They were so excited to do the science experiment.

They even caught a puppet show.  Evan loved the puppet show!

We have to dip our feet, it is still August, but we finally broke our 100 degree streak.

Lots of fun statues.

My boys love a good chess game.

Dallin is baptized

We had a wonderful weekend.  Dallin was baptized on Saturday.

We had grandparents here to support him

It was such a spiritual day and I hope he remembers the feelings he had that day.  He asks so many questions and I love how he is so curious.

Grandma West got him a cake.  He was so proud to get the cake.

A friend delivered a balloon and flowers for him.  He is loving playing with balloon.

It was fun hanging with cousins and Grandma and Grandpa West.

The cousins cooled off with sprinkler on the trampoline.

It was a wonderful weekend!

Forts and more

We had a few rain showers this past week.  It was nice to give our grass a little drink.  The kids took advantage and jumped on the trampoline while it was raining.

The kids have been big into forts lately.  My living room has been filled with blankets and chairs.

They each made their own shelter.

The boys made this one for Evan.  They were very proud of their little tepee.

monkeying around

It has been hot around here, but we still manage to get outside for a bit to play.

Playing with cousins at the park for a bit.

Leah wanted to bead bracelets.  She was so excited to create.

We have been working with Evan on bike riding.  He is enjoying it and finally getting comfortable.

We are still playing around the house with the costumes.

Never a dull moment over here.

8 is Great!

Dallin turned 8 this weekend!

He wanted an ice cream sandwich cake.  All of the kids wanted to help me make it.

It tasted pretty good. It didn't look as good as the picture, but tasted great!

Dallin really wanted a skate board.  He is getting the hang of it too.  Evan just had to try it out.

Dallin was excited about all of his gifts.

For his Birthday he got to go to Hawaiian Falls water park.  He had a blast!  They came back a little red, but it sounds like it was worth it.

Happy Birthday Dallin!  We are so proud and love you so much!

Vacation and swimming

Michael got to camp out in the Tetons with his brothers.  He had a great time.

We miss the mountains.

We have been up to the usual.

A friend of mine took the kids swimming one day while I was sick.

They had a great time swimming!

While Michael was gone.  I got sick and ended up needing an IV to get my fluids back up.  I am doing much better, but not quite a 100% yet.  I have never done so much laying around in my life.  ha ha.  I have great family and friends who came to help while i was really sick.  I am humbled and amazed at how great everyone is.

My crew on the 4th of July.  They went swimming and watched fireworks.

My nephew Rylan turned 3.  The party was at our house.  It looks like everyone had a great time!

Swim lessons just finished up for us.  Leah is getting better and a little more brave each time we go.

The boys are looking good and their strokes are getting stronger.
