Birthday, Soccer, and Derby

The boys had their first soccer game with their new league.

They did great and seem to enjoy themselves.

Joshua volunteered for goalie and has enjoyed it.

Dallin played well and is learning his position as well.

After the soccer game we had to rush over to the derby.  Dallin's car did great!  He won many races, until tournament time.

Joshua car did great as well.  He won many races.

Dallin was a little disappointed in the day.  He lost the soccer game and then lost the derby.  Joshua took 2nd.

After that we had to celebrate Michael!  We had family come over to hang out with.

Michael wanted a volcano cake.  This is what we came up with.  It was great day!

Spring Break

We had spring break this week.  I always have to stock up on fruit when the kids are home.  This day they wanted to make fruit skewers.  ha ha  I guess at least it is healthy.

This week was so busy for me for work, so I bought beyblades and stadium.  My boys played for hours.  They love it!  I was able to finish what I needed to, so it worked out for all of us.

Leah had a well check so I took her and then we went out to lunch.  It was so weird to be at the doc with just her.  I didn't have to keep anyone from touching instruments or opening drawers.  It was nice!  ha ha She is right on track with growth.  :)

Michael had been wanting new furniture for a while now.  We finally went shopping.  The kids loved trying out all of the couches.  They loved the neon glow ones here.

We ended up picking this one and not the neon light ones.  ha ha

We had to try out the massage chairs.  How could you not?

This boy is so happy.  He is always laughing and smiling.  He is into everything and wants to keep up with everyone.

We had plans to camp this weekend but Michael and I were so tired.  ha ha It has just been a crazy month or so.  Instead of camping we invited over a dozen kids and played night games.

We fed them hotdogs and roasted marshmallows.  They all seemed to have a good time.  Michael has fond memories of night games and wants to be this a regular thing.

Right before Spring Break Dallin had his play and music program.  They did a great job.

It is so fun to watch them perform.

On another bright note, my Dad is out of the hospital and doing well.  I am so impressed with his recovery.

Happy Birthday Evan!

My Birthday boy!

Evan had been in to Space lately.  I got him this projector for his room at night.  It is really fun.  It changes colors and rotates.  He loves it!

He wanted donuts for breakfast.

We got him a really fun rocket.  He loves playing with it.

We tried making a space shuttle cake.

We went to a space shuttle park.  It was a really fun park.  The slides were fast and fun!

My little astronaut at the park.  Evan is getting so big.  He climbs up the rock walls.  He isn't afraid to try things like that.  He plays really well with his older siblings.  He loves to ride his bike.  He is getting pretty good at writing and recognizing the alphabet.  He plays school with Leah all of the time.  She likes to pretend she is the Kindergarten teacher and will give Evan the lessons she learned that day.  It is cute!  We love having Evan in our family.

All the kids in the shuttle, but Aaron.

We had cousins come play with us and enjoy cake with us.  Evan had a great time playing with his fat bat and we launched his rocket from the Cruz family,

Blue and Gold and other festivities

Joshua and I had our monthly outing.  He picked Dunkin Donuts.  Yum!

My kids love watching Chopped on the Food Network.  This is what our house looks likes while my kids are playing Chopped.  ha ha  Lots of pretend food everywhere.  Leah is the judge here.

The boys had their Blue and Gold banquet.  They had a Western theme.

My boys love Scouts and love their leaders.  They had a great tme.

This baby is growing too fast.  He is army crawling everywhere and will be crawling soon.  He just barely turned 6 months, he shouldn't be crawling.  Why does my last child have to do everything so fast?

The kids had a carnival at the school.  They had a great time and came home with lots of candy.  They were supposed to dress up as a book character.  Evan picked a dinosaur.  Dallin picked Tommy from Yoda Origami book series, Joshua was Percy Jackson, and Leah was Belle.

Rough Month

Michael and I went out for Valentine's Day the Saturday before.  We went for a run at the lake and went out for breakfast.  It was fun to hang out with Michael and enjoy the beautiful morning.  This month has been really hard on us, so hoping for better things next month.

I made heart shaped pizza for dinner for us.

The kids got lots of candy from school and even shared a little with Evan.

Evan has almost earned himself a new bike.  He decided to practice on Leah's to see if he was ready for the 16 in bike.  He only has 12 inch now.

This sweet baby is getting too big too fast.  He is rolling all over the place.  He loves to be entertained by his siblings.  He is finally self soothing to sleep in the crib by himself.  He was so happy in the rock n play because he could almost roll himself out.  ha ha

We are working on hard on our alphabet.  Evan is getting closer to know them.  He is good at writing his name.  We have been sick the last few weeks so it has been good practice staying home.  We were all sick for about a month.  I am so glad that we are finally better.

My sister and I had to take a last minute flight out.  My Dad went into cardiac arrest caused by a heart attack.  It is really scary.  It is one of the hardest times of my life.  Michael has been super supportive.  I guess I was grateful that this baby actually took a bottle, so I could leave.  Things are still quite uncertain but I had to fly back for my family.   I may be returning.  I am grateful that my Aunts were there as well, and my Aunt Deby is still there.  They are amazing.  I know the Lord was with us.  My Dad had a great nurse.  We are grateful for the care he is receiving.

We stayed at a hotel across the street from the hospital so we didn't have to rent a car.  It must have at one time been a part of the hospital because these pull cords were in room and bathroom.  It was nice to be so close since I had to go back and forth to pump.

Happy Birthday Leah!

We have been sick this past week, so I am struggling to get anything done.  I didn't want a to miss sharing Leah's Birthday.

We started the morning out with Leah's first 5K ever.  She did amazing.  I was predicting we would be around 45 minutes, but we came in around 39.  She fell and even managed to finish the race. She struggled a little the last half of it, but after some gatorade she was good to go.  :)  It was really fun to run with her.

Leah wanted a Belle cake, so I tried out the ball gown cake.

We had family come over to celebrate.  She wanted grilled cheese for her meals.  Easy enough for us.

She got lots of great gifts.

It was our city's father daughter dance that night, so Michael got to take her out to the dance.  They get to eat dinner, take a pic, and of course dance.

The button turned out great.  They had a great time.

We had fun celebrating Leah's Birthday.  She is one amazing girl!  She is so kind and sweet.  She loves to draw and craft.  She recently wrote out all of her Valentines for her class.  It was so easy compared to what I have to go through to get my boys to do it.  ha ha  She loves school, and is doing really well in it.

Last night Leah had her Kindergarten performance.  It was rodeo themed.  She looked cute! It was fun to see her interact with other kids in her class.

They sang and danced with their horses.

It was nice that we were all in a circle.  No one was in front of us with their phones.  It worked great!  After the performance we played some rodeo games and went home.
