Busy October

Michael, my Mom and Dallin went to the BYU vs TCU game. It wasn't the best game to watch but they had a good time.

Joshua competed again.  It was a windy day and the tower fell over but they made it to Area competition.  I hope they have a great run for Area.  We have the one of the hardest Areas in the country so it is an honor to make it there.

Michael, my Mom and sister took Leah to her first concert and drone show.

The drone show was awesome.  Garland did a great job.

Leah doesn't know much about LeAnn Rimes but we had a good time.

We were far away but she put on a good show.

It was fun to sing along and the weather was perfect.

Aaron had his Fall festival

They had a great time

I took Evan to have some fun too

Aaron is one of the few smaller kids to make it to the top.

They have a pumpkin patch at Aaron's school so we had to take pics.

We won the cup stacking contest

We went to Joshua's first swim meet.  This is what the bleachers feel like when these boys come along with me.

Joshua did great.  After water polo they said he had to compete on the swim team.

He picked up right where he left off freshman year.

We finished up fall soccer season

All the kids did great.

We had a good season!

Beginning of October

We are  finishing up soccer this Fall.  Aaron has played great.

Leah and Evan has also played great.  They have won almost all of their games.

We ran into some issues with a person who had problems with us being members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  I was impressed with how everyone handled it.  We showed who we are and were not mean or bitter about it.  I hope everyone can see us for who we really are.

Leah had her first concert of the year.  They sounded great!  I am so impressed with how fast she picked up the viola.

Joshua and his band are working so hard.  They are looking really good.

We only have two more weeks until Area competition and then band will slow down.  Robotics and Rocketeering will pick up.  Yes, Joshua added something else to his list.

Joshua just finished up water polo.

We all learned a lot.  They got better with each game.  They didn't win but this was the first year they had water polo at the school.  He will now move on to swim team.

Dallin finished cross country.  It was a little heartbreaking as he fell and didn't finish where he wanted.

The team took 4th again.  Next, year hopefully they will make regionals.  He made such great strides this year.  He got PRs in every distance.

Leah and Emily hope to make the middle school soccer team.  I hope they do.  Leah has been working on getting her mile time down.  She is going to run track as well.

Aaron waiting for his siblings to be done.

My kids grades are great and it is so fun to watch them grow and learn.  It is also nice to have the weather finally cool off.

Cruising through September

We have been watching the band at football games.

It is still hot here so we are still swimming.

Joshua marched in the Labor Parade.  We enjoyed watching him march by.

They are getting their show ready for competition.  It is fun to watch.

Soccer has started.  We are doing a different league this fall.

I think they have all won their games so far.
So far the kids are enjoying it.

Joshua started water polo.

I had to look up some rules but it is fun to watch and looks exhausting.

This is the first year the school has competed with water polo so they are defiantly the underdogs.

Dallin has been running cross country meets every week as well.  He has been working so hard.

New School Year, Sports, and Birthday

We did a cross country relay the Saturday before school started.

Everyone did great.  It was so hot out.

First day of school.  Dallin didn't want his picture.  This year Joshua is driving.

Evan was not excited about starting school either.  He is getting used to the new routine but still doesn't like getting woken up every morning.

Aaron was excited about meeting new friends and being around people.  He is adjusting to a new school.

Leah is headed off to trying out Spanish and Athletics this year.

Cross country meets have begun.

Dallin had a nice PR in this meet.  The team took 3rd I think.

We headed to the city's space exhibit.

We had a good time looking around.

We had the parent showcase.

The band is looking very good this year.

Another cross country meet.

This wasn't his best but finished strong.  We are hoping it cools off at some point.

Michael and I had our anniversary.  We went to the rodeo.  We had a good time.  Michael has never been to a rodeo.  He had all kinds of questions.

Aaron had a birthday.  We got him a little ping pong table.

We also went to Hawaiian Falls water park and ended with cake.

110 degree heat doesn't stop us

We had the whole family out for Aaron's Birthday.  It is rare we all can be at the same place at the same time.  :)

We didn't even get any sunburns.

He can't wait to do it again

He is tall enough to go on all the slides.  He a great time.

This was from the cross country relay.  Evan started out too fast and had to walk a little.  Our temps have been around 110 so it is brutal.

We try and have a little fun

Dallin finished fifth in his leg.  He did great.

Leah had a good run too.

This was our exchange.  We finished 23rd.
