Joshua insisted on wearing this hat all day today. We got a lot of looks while going on a walk.

Rolling Over and Green Hat
Halloween
Joshua had a hard time trying to keep on his hat, and wanting to smile for the camera. :)
We decided to go as Mario , Luigi, Peach, and Michael was the geek that plays the game. He has a controller in the picture.
We found a monkey to pose with. It is one of Joshua's buddies. We went to our Ward's Trunk or Treat. It was fun. We did not get one single trick or treater at our house.

Pumpkin Carving Contest
Here are the wonderful pumpkins everyone made and shared with us. If you have anymore you carved later I can add them on when you send them. Anyone can vote on the right which one you like best, but you cannot vote for your own if you entered in a pumpkin. Feel free to comment about how great of a job everyone did. I am very impressed with the talent of our family!

Day of Ups and Downs
Joshua had a really rough morning. We went to the park and he fell twice. We had friends over and he just cried about every little thing, and Dallin shared his pain. Little did I know he actually hurt himself worse then I thought. He was also tired. He slept for almost three hours yesterday.
Joshua scraped his hand really good and anything he touches with it, he starts to cry. He will hardly let me look at it. It looks much better today. It is hard to tell how painful it looks in this picture.
It is hard to tell but he has a bruise on the side of his face, from one of the falls yesterday.
We carved the pumpkin for family home evening. We would show you the final result, but we will reveal that in the pumpkin carving contest blog when everyone can vote on their favorite pumpkin.
Dallin is just hanging out watching the trees move as we were carving the pumpkin.

Long Sleeves!

All of the bulbs are floating but one! I have never seen that!

This is the coolest our house has ever been! I love it! It didn't last long.

We had cooler tempatures today so we pulled out the warmer clothes for a change. We had to try on several outfits because he has outgrown many of his clothes. I have figured out why Joshua was waking up. He now has a second set of molars! Now he will hopefully sleep better even if Dallin is crying.
Dallin missed out some Winter clothes that Joshua used to wear when he was a baby. Last night he did sleep a little better. I just bundled him in really tight in a blanket and he finally settled down for a few hours.

Helpful Joshua
Joshua has been very helpful lately. He helps me with the dishwasher. He will take all of silverware and put it into the drawer. He doesn't separate them but they all end up in the right drawer. I just have to make sure the dishes are clean when he decides to be helpful.
He also loves to separate laundry. Most people while separating laundry separate the darks and the lights. Joshua separates the clothes by Dad's and not Dad's. Dad is very much his favorite. He is constantly bringing me things and telling me
that they belong to Dad.
He tries to help me with Dallin. He will wipe the baby's mouth. He can be a bit rough at times, like when the baby is sleeping and he wants to tug on his arms or legs. For the most part he is really cute with Dallin and likes to kiss him and lay next to him.

On a fun note the Young Women I am coaching won the Stake Volleyball Tournament. They are so awesome! I have had a great time getting to know them and watching them play. We go to Regionals on Saturday.
Go G1!

Finally Fall?
I feel like it is finally starting to cool down. It got down to 70 in my house. It was wonderful. I also feel like we are winning the war with the roaches. We called in a bug guy and so far so good. All the roaches we have found are either dead or dying. I want to pest control contract for Christmas.
At playgroup Joshua has been trying to keep up with the 4 year olds. He is becoming so brave. Almost too brave he tumbled down some stairs at a friends house the other day. It gave me a
heart attack. He loves to hang out with others now. We have been meeting up with a friend who lives close and Joshua and Afton have been playing nicely together. It is so crazy how fast kids can progress. He is saying a lot more words and making a lot more sense lately. I can hardly get him to come inside. He just loves outside. He is also carrying arou
nd Green Dog everywhere. Green Dog goes potty and for stroller rides. He also goes outside to play and sits at the table for dinner. It is cute! Joshua is growing up so fast. He isn't my baby any more.
Dallin is doing great. He is reaching for toys and using his hands more. He will even laugh, but he has yet to laugh for me. He will only laugh for Dad. Both of my boys are Dad's boys. I burned his face yesterday at the park. I feel so bad. Joshua never had a sunburn, but that was in Idaho. I will have to be more careful. While Joshua hangs out with Afton, Dallin hangs with Rayna, they looks so cute in the stroller!

Michael played intramural volleyball last Thursday. He did pretty well. My team lost again. We were doing really well and now have lost the last two games. Oh well, it is just fun to go out and do something just for me. I am back down to pre pregnancy weight. Yeah!
