10 Year Anniversary Celebration!

My sister was so great and took my kids for the night.  Michael and I went to a bed and breakfast.  It was fun to get away for the night.  The room was nice and a huge bed!

It also had a fancy bathroom.

Our room was named the Texas Star.  ha ha

We were on the Brazos riveer.

We swam in the pool and walked the square.  We ate out and relaxed.  It was nice!

In the morning while waiting for breakfast we watched the boats on the water.

We had a great time and really appreciate Jenny taking my kids!  Thank You!

On Saturday evening we went to Uncle David's house and ate dinner.  We also made homemade ice cream.  It was delicious!  We had a great time there too!

Recovering

Last week I watched my nephew.  We had fun with him.  Toward the end of last week, we all started to get sick. I ended up with pneumonia, Joshua with double ear infections, Leah had an ear infection, and Evan had an ear infection. This week we just rested and healed.

We played inside quite a bit this week.  Temps have been over 100, and making sure everyone is healthy kept us indoors.

We are all feeling much better. We can start to get ready for school to start now.

West Family Reunion

We have had a crazy week here so I haven't gotten this post up.  The pictures aren't in any organized order either, but I'm too tired to fix it.  The post must go up.  :)  We went to Southern Utah for the West Reunion.  It was the first time his siblings have all gotten together in years.  We had a blast!
There was a little relaxing.  :)

We did a rain gutter regatta.  The kids had fun.

Hanging out with Grandpa.

The cabin had 10 bedroom with 10 families staying there.

We got to explore Bryce Canyon for a little bit.

We also went to Zions National Park.  Weather was much better for this day.

The boys had fun rock climbing.

Leah had fun dressing up with her cousins.

Lots of Nerf wars and tag.  Fun lawn games all around.

'
Jennifer bought every glow sticks or light sabers as the kids would tell me.
The kids did great on the car ride.

Evan did awesome on the car ride.

My kids love hotels!  Goofy kids!

This is back to the Emerald pools at Zion.  Leah ended up hiking 3 miles!

Resting after a hike.

Paul and Jessica fighting.  ha ha  It made me laugh.

We had a great time.  It was so fun to see everyone!  Can't wait for the next one!

Happy Birthday Dallin!

We celebrated Dallin's Birthday right before we left for Michael's family reunion.  I am still uploading pictures from the reunion so that post is still to come.

We went to a wave pool for his Birthday.  We had fun!

They also had a little spray park for the kids.

We had a good time riding the waves.

Dallin ready to blow out candles

Dallin asked for a helipad cake, so I delivered.

Dallin is a super sweet kid.  We are lucky to have him in our family!  He is a great reader and learning his multiplication facts.  He is loving summer and not quite ready for school to start yet.  He loves to swim and asks to go often.

Making his wish

He was very blessed with gifts and has had fun with them!

Race and Kayaking

All my kids ran the 1K.  They did a great job.  Michael pushed the stroller with Leah and Evan. Joshua and Dallin ran the 5K with me as well.  Joshua fell about half mile in and finished the whole race anyway.  Dallin did his personal best with 29 min.  I was so proud of all of them.  After the boys finished they said they didn't want to do the 1K with Evan and Leah.  They were too tired, but after cooling down a bit the couldn't resist.  :)

My sister Kira purchased a Kayak rental for me for my Birthday.  Michael and I got to use it on Saturday.  My sister Jenny watched my kids.  We had a great time, but we are both a little burned.
It was so relaxing hanging out at the lake for a couple of hours.  Thank you Kira and Jenny for making it possible!

Happy Independence Day!

We went out early to a breakfast early with our Church.

Can't have a 4th of July celebration without watermelon

My kids looking all patriotic

We played at the park and then came home.  We grilled with the Clark and Cruz family, and then went off to fireworks.
