Scout camp and parties

Joshua went to scout camp this week.  He had a blast.

He got to kayak and snorkel.

Michael joined him on the adventure. 

Joshua loved hanging with the guys.

Meanwhile at home we partied here.  The kids went to a unicorn party.

Leah got her face painted.  We also endured 109 degree temps.  

Happy Birthday Dallin!

Dallin turned 10!  Time really does go by so fast.

He is very much into Pokemon

He loved that all of his family came to eat with him.

We all had a great time eating hot dogs and ice cream cake.

We are so proud of Dallin and who he is becoming.  He is great son, friend, and brother.  He is so kind hearted  and smart.

4th of July and Race Day

Michael picked up these bubble balls on clearance.  We had a great time with them!

On Saturday we raced.  Jenny and I did the 5k and the rest did the one mile. I placed third in my age group.  I hardly ever pace so it is fun to get a medal.  No PR for me, but hopefully I will get there again. 

Evan ran the whole mile so he rang the PR bell.  He ran at a steady pace the whole time and finished in about 11:30.

It is so fun to run with everyone.

On the 4th of July we had our family over.

We played with the bubble balls.

We lit off a few little fire crackers.

We played kick ball with the slip and slides and kiddy pools.

We all had a blast!

It is so fun to hang with all of the family!

Camps and Swimming

Joshua had Vex Robotics camp all this week.

This is the robot he built.  

He and his partner worked hard and in the last competition ended up 7th.  

We also played at the pool some more.  The kids are all in swim lessons.  

We even took our cousins to the pool.  It was their first time at a pool.

The kids are doing great at swimming.  Evan is floating and Leah is starting to do her front crawl.

Leah also began cross stitching this week.  She seems to be enjoying it.

Summer Break!

We hit the pool this weekend.  The kids had a blast.

This unicorn was fun to play with.

Our friends opened up their pool to us.  She was so nice!  The pool is in the shade and it was perfect.

We also did library a few this this week.  We went to see the raptors.  The kids got to learn about hawks, owls, and other raptors.  They seemed to enjoy it.

Aaron has to cavities in his front teeth.  We have been watching them and treating them for months.  The dentist thinks that the teeth are under developed so it is difficult to stop the cavity from getting worse.  As a last ditch effort, so the teeth wouldn't have to be pulled or crowned at the children's hospital I allowed them to use a very strong fluoride.  This fluoride turns anything it touches black, but they say it works.  I opted for my baby to have black on his front teeth for a year or so until he can sit at a dentist office and get it taken care of versus going under general anesthesia at the hospital.  

We also had a nice Father's day today.  We have great Dad's in our life.  Michael got a few gifts, Joshua made breakfast, and we had steak for dinner. 

School's out!

We saw a turtle in our yard today.  He was a pretty big one.

Kira got me this inflatable.  The kids pounced all over it.

We will have a good time testing it out.

We have had fun with the sprinklers and cousins.

I went running early on Saturday morning when I crossed paths with an unfriendly dog.  The owner had him on a long leash and was slow to pull back after the dog came out me.  I am fine, it was a just a crazy morning.

Joshua was promoted to 6th grade.  He received several awards.  

We are so proud of all of his accomplishments.

 He is excited for the many adventures ahead. He has decided to play the trombone.  

We hit the splash pad with our cousins.

Owen takes such good care of his sister.

They all had a great time.

It was a hot one.  Nallely's parents left today.  It was fun getting to know them.

Fun week!

Jenny and I did the 4 miler Blooming race on Saturday.  It was a hot one!

On Monday we had fun with the Clark family and the Cruz family.

Michael grilled for us.

We did some swimming!

Later in the week we did the pool with the little ones.

We have had fun with my brother's family here!
