Jenny's Birthday

We took Aunt Jenny bowling for her Birthday. Our original plan was to go to Studio Movie Grill, but we were not interested in any of the movies playing. We all decided to go bowling. Kids under 18 bowl the first game free, so we let the boys bowl. They loved it! They were so excited to knock down pins. It was a lot of fun. This is the boys fake smiling for me, lovely I know. :) I just have to mention that team Joshua Dallin did better then Dad in the first game. :) Joshua and Dallin also had bumpers up and Michael didn't but still I had to give him a hard time.
Jenny blew us all out of the water with her bowling, but it was her Birthday after all. :) We love you Aunt Jenny and are so happy that you live so close to us!

We made her a "cake" (brownies, we just like them better). The boys did a great job singing Happy Birthday and I thought I got it on video but I thought wrong. Oh well. We ate pizza and rented a movie for the night. All and all a successful day. Well, at least it has to beat the funeral she went to last year for her Birthday. :)

Scott

We are expecting number 3! We are due in February 5. Joshua insists that the baby is a boy and his name will be Scott. Any time I ask him what if it is a baby sister, he refuses to think of such a thing. He is convinced it is a baby brother, and his name will be Scott. Sometimes after watching Bob he says the baby could be called Bob, but mostly it is Scott. Joshua also thinks that I ate the baby and now we are just waiting for it to work its way through. I have tried to explain that it wrong, but he has yet to be convinced. :) Oh well, it is so fun to see what the kids come up with.

I started with "school" with Joshua at home. He is doing ok. I am learning patience again. ;) He is a very smart, but when he doesn't want to do something he really won't do it. We are learning lots about each other and it is fun. We only have school time for like an hour. I just want him to get used to some things that they will be doing at school. We have fun too. We learn about skyscrapers, boats, and farms. I always let him pick one subject and then we do letters and counting. It is fun to see them learn.

Dallin is doing great. He is getting so big and loving on his big brother. He wants his shoes off if Joshua has his off. It is cute.

5 Years!

This is a picture from my Birthday, but Michael and I don't take very many photos together. :)

Michael and I have been married for 5 years now! It has been a great 5 years! It was the best decision I could have made to be married for all Eternity to him.

Michael surprised me last Friday and took me to lunch. We went to a Brazilian Steakhouse. It was so yummy. A friend of ours stayed with the kids it was so nice. After lunch we put the kids down for a nap. When nap time was over the kids went to play at a friends house who took them swimming and Michael and I went to the movies. It was so great! We usually don't do much for our anniversary so it was so nice! Thanks for all those who helped make the day wonderful!

Feeding Ducks

We have a pond about a mile from our house. We decided to go check it out and feed the ducks.
The boys had a good time, I wasn't sure if they were going to be scared, because the ducks were everywhere, but they loved it. Dallin even caught his finger in a beak or two.
At one point Dallin stuck his whole foot in the pond. I know it is hot here, but he doesn't have the right shoes on for that, and this water isn't exactly swimming water.
We went with friends, who also enjoyed it. One little girl was afraid of the ducks. It was cute.

Visitors!

We had fun time when Paul and Brianna came to visit! We love visitors! We went to Medieval Times. We did not know at the time that Brianna was like deathly allergic to horses, (we blame Paul for that). We had to rush home so that she could breathe normal, but other than that we had a great time.

On Saturday we went to the West house and went swimming. It was fun to eat and spend at evening with them. Jeanette didn't think that she had ever met Paul, so it was good to introduce family to other family. The boys had a good time as usual.

We didn't take many pictures except for that first night so that is why they are all of the restaurant. We had a great time. The boys got used to them as soon as it was time for them to leave, but maybe next time it will go faster. Thanks so much for visiting and visit again soon!

Last night my kids cracked me up

I like to listen to the news as I clean up the kitchen and dining room after dinner. I wasn't quite done, and was too busy to change the channel or turn it off and Wheel of Fortune came on. My boys loved it! They were yelling at the contestants to pick different letters. They were sad when the letters the contestants picked were wrong, or when the contestant wouldn't pick the letter they had yelled out. They would also clap and cheer. It was very entertaining for me to watch them.

The other thing that cracked me up was when I took Joshua out of the tub. He starts singing this song. I am not sure what he is singing at first. After I listen closely I realize he is singing in Spanish! He is singing Buenos Dias, Buenos Dias, Bueno frog, Bueno gato, and the rest I couldn't quite make out. It was so funny. I asked him where he learned the song and he replied, the tub. Dallin enjoyed Joshua song so much that when I put them both to bed, I got to listen to Buenos Dias, Buenos Dias, for a while. :) I am with Joshua more times than not and I am not sure where this comes from, which is why it is so funny to me.

Buzzed

My boys all just got their hair buzzed. Dad did it all. I just think that they all look similar with their hair like that.
We are doing great here. We are keeping busy. Joshua said something funny the other day, we went swimming at Jenny's place and I overheard him telling Jenny that Dad couldn't come because he has to work and make money for Mom. Silly boy. Dallin is doing good as well, he is being two. He is great in the nursery. He is one of the few who doesn't cry.
