Kid Update

Leah is doing great. She is much more interactive. She likes to chew on her fingers and her clothes. She is an excellent sleeper. She goes down around 6 PM and wakes up around 6-7 AM. It is so nice. She doesn't roll over much, but I have seen her do it both ways, but she doesn't care to for the most part. She loves rattles and toys or things that make noise.

Joshua is getting excited to start school in two months. He wants to ride the bus and take a lunch, which won't be happening but I am excited about the change in attitude. When he wants to he is so good at writing his letters and starting to sound out some words. He loves to spend time with Leah. He likes to look at Leah and make her smile and laugh. He is so curious about the world. He is one of those kids that has to ask why about everything.

Dallin is doing so great. He is potty trained. When he finally decided he could do it, there was no problem. He has hardly had any accidents. Since the day he used the potty for the first time he has had maybe 2 accidents. He is going all night with no diaper and everything. I am one proud Mom! When our kids are potty trained day and night they receive new bikes. Dallin will get his just in time for his Birthday. He also loves to jump off of things and do somersaults on the floor. He loves playing with his brother and playing in water.

Dadfest 2011!!!

I hope everyone is having a fabulous Father's Day. Michael and I have wonderful Dads. We are so blessed. They both have been great examples to us. Michael is a great father to my children. The kids and I love him so much. We feel so blessed by all the wonderful men in our lives who help us to be better people.

We went to Dadfest yesterday and it was a blast. Michael ran his first 5K, and the boys got to run 50 yd dash. There were all kinds of activities. Jenny and her friend Tony ran as well. They all did very well. We dressed similar again. Go Team Lazy!!!

They had a Father son look alike contest. We didn't win, but it was fun to watch. The boys got to be up on stage.

Jenny took second in her age division. She came in right behind number one. It was a really hot day. The temperature was 103 for the day.

They also had a climbing wall. Michael and Tony raced to the top. Michael won.

4 Months

I am a little late getting this post out, but here is my beautiful girl. She is doing wonderfully. She is 14.8 lbs, and 25.5 in long. She is 90 percentile for height and weight she is moved down to the 75 percentile. She is happy most of the time. She does not like people when she is tired. When well rested she loves people and attention especially from her brothers. She only likes to sleep in her bed, so that can make life a little tricky at times but we handle it.

Wyoming

We had a wonderful time in Wyoming. The kids did better than expected on the drive. The weather was beautiful. We loved spending time with family. It was so fun to see everyone. We miss you all already. We wish we could spend more time.
Michael tried golf for the first time.
We took a hike around Devils Tower. It was a great day to hike.

Joshua loved Devils Tower. The kids did great on the hike.
Leah and her cousin Christopher. They are both so cute!!
Joshua helped Grandma and Grandpa plant a garden. Jacob helped too.
The boys went fishing for the first time. They didn't catch anything but had fun.
We of course had to play at the park. All of the boys had a great time. My boys loved to play with their cousin Jacob.
This is the pictures of all of the kids except Christopher who was sleeping. Emily was in VA so she isn't pictured either. Some day we may get all of my parents grandkids together. :)

We had a wonderful trip. It went way too fast. Now it is life back to normal.

Memorial Day

We went to Lake Lavon for Memorial Day. We went with a bunch of friends and had a great time. We took our little raft and took the kids for rides. We had a yummy lunch and got a little sun burned. Jenny came with us which was great. She helped me keep track of the kids, while Michael played chess. :)

This is a typical Leah face. She did really well until like 2:00 PM and then she was done so it was time to go home. I think the boys could have swam for another two hours.

The boys had a great time. Joshua even went under water and was very proud of himself. He didn't do it on purpose but it all worked out in the end.

We had a great Memorial Day weekend. It was fun to spend time with all of our wonderful friends!

Safety Fair

Michael helped with the North East Dallas safety fair. He was helping out with the bike rodeo. They gave out 500 bike helmets and had to ride a bike on a course. The kids an I played at the fair. Joshua and Dallin had a great time and both got helmets. I forgot my camera so had to use my phone for pictures.
The boys loved the SWAT team vehicle. They got to climb in the aromored truck and play with gun replicas. I am not a fan of guns, but my boys sure seem to be. They loved it. Joshua proclaimed that he wanted one for his Birthday.

They had police cars and motorcyles to look at and sit in. The helicopter came down and the kids got to climb in and look at that as well. The garbage truck did demonstrations for the kids. They also showed off the command center and had bounce houses for the kids to jump in.

Joshua now wants to be a fireman when he grows up. He enjoyed sitting in the fire truck and honking the horn. There were rescue dogs and horses for the boys to pet. Dallin was not a fan of the horses, but the dogs were ok. The boys were in heaven all morning on Saturday. They served up hotdogs for everyone for lunch and a popsicle for dessert.

Camp Out

The boys went to the Ward camp out while Leah and I stayed home. I was worried about taking Leah with the bugs and smoke. It worked out because I was able to stay home and mow the lawn, run, and make a meal for someone in our Ward.
The boys had a great time. They love the sand and digging in the dirt. They went on a 1.7 mile hike. Dallin was so tired by the time they got home I stuck him straight in the bath and in bed. He screamed the entire time until I put him in bed. Once in bed he was out and when he woke up he told me he felt better.
Michael put together the Ward Camp out. He had 66 people show up. It sounded like everyone enjoyed themselves. Next year I will make it out. I miss camping with the family. :)
