My Grandma

Aaron and I had to wait for Joshua to get out of scouts on Saturday.
We went up and own the stairs several times.

He also pretended he was a dog.  He crawling and barking.  I got a few looks. ha ha  Dallin and Evan attended Birthday parties.  Leah tagged along with Evan.

My Grandma passed away on Friday.  I am not good with feelings and emotions, especially expressing them.  I can't express what she means to me.  She will be missed.

She was beautiful and so much fun to be around.

She wasn't afraid to say what she thought.

She raised my Mom and Aunts who are all amazing.

I know she is at peace now, and her body is healed, but selfishly I wish I could have more time.  She was a wonderful Grandma and a great example to me.

Around the house fun!

We've been hanging around the house lately.  I have pleurisy after my Christmas illness so I haven't been able to run or do too much physically, which stinks.

I hosted Joy School this week.

We had fun with blocks and bears.  Aaron loves having friends over.

Michael finished up my pretty new table

I love it.  He did such a great job and it fits so many people.

On Saturday Dallin had robotics.  He ended up taking 6th.  He did a great job.  I don't have pictures because I stayed home with the little ones.  Robotics tournaments are from like 7:30 am to 4pm.  It is just too long for Aaron.  I kept Evan and Leah busy digging for dinosaur bones.

It took them four hours to uncover all of the bones in the rock like clay and put it together.  It made a huge mess, which I wasn't expecting.  lol  They loved it and had a great time working together.

The rest of Christmas break

It rained quite a bit so kids were stir crazy.

My Mom had the kids working out.  lol

Mainly we have been getting over sickness.  It is a nasty virus.  It really knocked my kids and I out.

Everyone but my Mom and Michael got it.

I think everyone is on the mend now and should be good to go to school.

I feel so bad we shared it with Michael's family.  We may never get visitors again.  Yikes.  If I would have known I would do anything not share it. Hopefully everyone is better soon and stronger for it.

West, Largey, Clark Christmas!

Everyone arrived Saturday night.  We just ate dinner and chilled that evening.  On Sunday morning we went off to church.  Nicole and Andrew sang for our Ward.  They sounded great.  Joshua was ordained after church.  It was neat to have so many there to support him.

We got our exercise by using the dance pads.

The kids played outside with the nerf and laser guns as well.

Michael made me this awesome table and two large benches.  He is amazing.

We played at the park.

It is so fun to have so many cousins around.

On Christmas Eve we did the Nativity.

The kids looked great and it is great remembering why we are all here.

We played a game where they had to open up a gift that Michael wrapped up really good.  They had to open it up with oven mitts.  In the end they had to use their hands.  I guess Michael is just that good at wrapping.

The kids opened up their new pajamas.

My kids with their cute pjs on.

The whole crew with their pjs on.

Presents for 23 people.  15 of them are kids.

Christmas chaos.

We made them wait until everyone was awake.

Michael handed out the presents and they opened them one by one.  It took quite awhile to get to all of them.

We played with the new presents.  Pogo sticks are fun.

Leah and Joshua both bot new bikes.  The kids played at the creek quite a bit as well.  I didn't head down there with them so I don't have pictures, but Grandpa seemed to enjoy exploring with the kids down at the creek.  Every day some kid came back wet from falling in.

We played with the all of our gifts and put things together.

The next day a group went downtown and rode the trolley.

They played at the park.

They also visited the art museum.

Later we took the kids to an indoor playground.  It was raining outside so it was nice to get them to run around.

They had a great time, but it was little scary driving home in the rain.

Thomas got baptized.  We had fun at the church afterwards playing nerf gun war.

No real injuries this time.  We shared germs with each  other.  I feel bad that so many got sick.  We just couldn't quite kick the colds before Christmas.

Leah loves hanging with her girl cousins.  She is surrounded by so many boys she loves the chances she gets when she hangs with girls.

We love that everyone came.  We had a great time!  Everyone is welcome anytime!

Christmas Festivities

In and Out and Pajama with the Principal.  We ate and then the Principal read a story to everyone.  We had a great time.  The kids came home with new books.

We decorated a ginger bread house.

We looked at Christmas lights.

We went to Adventure landing and did Go Karts, Golf and laser tag.

Christmas is so fun.
