End of School

 

We took my Mom to Ifly for her Birthday.  We had a great time! 

We had a wonderful Easter.  We ate and hunted for eggs.

The kids love the confetti eggs.  

Evan had his choir concert.  They sounded great!

Aaron had his work displayed at the art show.  He did a great job.

We finished up soccer.  The kids all did great!

Dallin and I ran a 5k.  He finished second overall.  This was my first 5k post surgery and it went ok.

Second 5k post surgery.  Emily took 3rd and Dallin took 1st in his age group.

I loved Aaron's plant he brought home from school

I volunteered at field day.  It was a good time.  I have loved Aaron's Kindergarten teacher.  We will miss her next year.

Leah got a A honor roll all year.

We have started swimming season.

Look at that handsome life guard.  Joshua is enjoying making money.

Primary activities are still happening.  The kids enjoyed a nice evening at the park.

We had a baby shower for Kira.  We had a great time!

Spring

Dallin has been running track.  He placed second in the 3200 at this meet. He has progressively gotten better.

The boys played a long game of Axis and Allies.

I had surgery.  I am recovering well.  Hopefully I will be back even better in the next few weeks.

Evan had a Birthday.  He wanted another Volcano cake.  

He wanted his presents in the morning of his Birthday.

They had a gel blaster gun fight for his Birthday.  He had a great time.

Aaron and Leah and I had a night to ourselves.  We had a picnic in the living room and watched a movie. 

Evan competed in State Robotics tournaments.  He had a great season.

Dallin got second in the 1600 on this track meet. 

Joshua and Dallin went to Disney and Universal for Spring break with the band.  They had a great time!

They liked Universal better than Disney.  I am glad they had an opportunity to do that.  

 

February

Leah had a Birthday!  She had a gel blaster party. 

The girls all had a great time.

It worked out great after a week of ice storm to have a nice day. 

Evan had trouble seeing again so we brought him back in for new glasses.

Dallin, Jenny, Kira and I all ran a 5k.  Dallin took 3rd in his age group

Aaron worked on his Valentines.

This was his tank he made for his Valentines.

Dallin has his first track meet.  He ended up taking 3rd in the 3200.

January

Another trip to Six Flags.

The kids had a great time!

Leah said goodbye to primary.  We made pizza and had a good send off with my activity kids.

We ran a race.

I didn't run as fast as I wanted to but we all had a good time.

The older boys marched in the MLK parade.  Evan and Aaron loaded up on candy.

Joshua has been working really hard in robotics. The team was invited to the US championships in Iowa this year.  He really wants to go.  We will see what we can do to make it happen.

Evan ran the race too.  He did great!  Dallin ran a PR as well.  I love watching my kids grow and learn.
