New School Year, Sports, and Birthday

We did a cross country relay the Saturday before school started.

Everyone did great.  It was so hot out.

First day of school.  Dallin didn't want his picture.  This year Joshua is driving.

Evan was not excited about starting school either.  He is getting used to the new routine but still doesn't like getting woken up every morning.

Aaron was excited about meeting new friends and being around people.  He is adjusting to a new school.

Leah is headed off to trying out Spanish and Athletics this year.

Cross country meets have begun.

Dallin had a nice PR in this meet.  The team took 3rd I think.

We headed to the city's space exhibit.

We had a good time looking around.

We had the parent showcase.

The band is looking very good this year.

Another cross country meet.

This wasn't his best but finished strong.  We are hoping it cools off at some point.

Michael and I had our anniversary.  We went to the rodeo.  We had a good time.  Michael has never been to a rodeo.  He had all kinds of questions.

Aaron had a birthday.  We got him a little ping pong table.

We also went to Hawaiian Falls water park and ended with cake.

110 degree heat doesn't stop us

We had the whole family out for Aaron's Birthday.  It is rare we all can be at the same place at the same time.  :)

We didn't even get any sunburns.

He can't wait to do it again

He is tall enough to go on all the slides.  He a great time.

This was from the cross country relay.  Evan started out too fast and had to walk a little.  Our temps have been around 110 so it is brutal.

We try and have a little fun

Dallin finished fifth in his leg.  He did great.

Leah had a good run too.

This was our exchange.  We finished 23rd.

Family Reunion and Ribbon Cutting

We stayed in a really fun house with a climbing wall.

The kids all had a good times playing games with their cousins.

My kids are so excited about being around all of  their cousins.

Bear lake is beautiful.

We toured a cave.

The cave was 40 degrees all year long.

There were lots of steps in the cave.

We went boating.  We had a great time pulling the tube.

We loved it.

We were all a little burned afterwards.

We also took out the jet skis.  They were fun too!

We were tired and sunburned after the long day.  Our drive home was super long and had a little car trouble.  We made it and started work and back into life.  Joshua is busy with band and life guarding.

We had a grand opening of the park near our house.

They cut the ribbon and splash pad was open.

We have been back several times.

We got free snow cones.

We have also been swimming some more.

First Half of Summer

Thiago and Aaron playing with blocks and racing marbles down.

Lots of swimming.  I was having Joshua practice his instructor skills with Aaron.

Chilling pool side.

Neighborhood block party.

We love hanging with our neighbors.

Risk games

Aaron and Evan climbing to the top.

They did a great job.

The kids also got cool baloons.

We found a great spot in the shade and waited for fireworks

It was a great night with a breeze.

More swimming in the pool

Independence Day weekend at Church.  The boys were in red white and blue

Lake Days

We had a great time at the lake.

We had a great set up.

I had to sneak a pic of Dallin in.

Michael said I wasn't taking enough pictures so I had to prove we were both there.

I have a new niece!  She is beautiful.

Aaron and Evan playing with trains.  Aaron loves for me to take pics of his creations.

We ran another race.  Leah did it after girls camp.  She was such a trooper to get up early after a week of girls camp

I placed first!

Dallin also placed first in his age group.

Leah and my Mom went to girls camp.  They had a great time.  Joshua has been working.  Dallin finished one class this summer and is starting his driving course.  Evan and Aaron are doing swim lessons.  We are keeping busy.  The summer is going by fast.
