Mother's Day Weekend

It was teacher appreciation week so I made caramel pop corn for all the teachers.  It was yummy!  I am on the executive PTA board now, so I get to do more things like this.

Evan was so cute yesterday playing cars for hours.  He was so content until his brothers persuaded him to go outside.

The pool had filled with rain water, and Evan decided to go all in.
The bigger boys at first just played in it with their feet and then by the end they were all soaking wet.  They had a great time!

My Mother's Day has been nice!  Joshua made me the plate and wrote a book.  Dallin made me some coupons and answered cute questions about me.  Michael got me the can opener and some M&Ms.  I also got my new running shoes.  Michael knew he would be busy Sunday so he made me dinner on Saturday and made sure dinner would be easy for Sunday.  He is so sweet!
I am so grateful for my Mother.  She is so strong and amazing!  She is the best example for me!  I wish we could see each other more!  My sister's and sister in law are wonderful Mothers as well!  I learn so much from the mas well!  I just wish we could hang out more!

My Mother in law is amazing and she raised my amazing husband.  I learn so much for her!  My sister in laws are amazing as well!  It is great to be surrounded by so many strong women!

Lake Day!

After soccer games and nap time we headed out to the lake.  It is early for most Texans/people to swim but it has been warm.  It isn't too crowded at the lake yet.  :)
Joshua doesn't hesitate to jump in.  He loves to swim.

Dallin wasn't bothered by the cold either.

We played on our rafts.  Rylan wasn't sure he wanted to stay in the raft, but we all had fun.

Leah likes the rafts and all of the floatie devices.

The boys loved to pretend to oar.

It was so perfect to hang out on the raft and feel the hot sun and yet the cool water.
We had a great time and hope to do it again soon!

Blue Bonnets

I forgot to post our Blue Bonnet photos from a few weeks back.  It was really windy, and we couldn't all keep our eyes open.

I sure do have cute kids!

Leah loves to write notes to us.  She is always helpful.  I know they say boys are the messy ones, but more often then not she will be my child wet or covered in mud.

Joshua has straight A's and loves science and math.  He also just joined the chess club at his school.

Dallin is doing wonderful in school and he has a perfect report card!  He is a great reader and has the third highest AR points in his class.

Evan loves Rylan and loves when comes over to play.
Evan is starting to count a little, and express himself a little better.  He loves his binky way too much.

Michael and I being goofy.

We also took out the little pool for a little swim yesterday.

It was cold at first but they still enjoyed it!  Swimming in April is crazy!  :)

April Showers Bring May Flowers

This weekend we worked our yard.  The kids played.

The weather was gorgeous.  We have storms coming in at night, but during the day it is beautiful.

My kids have been living outside this Spring.

Evan keeps himself busy while the boys practice soccer.

Joshua had marathon day at school. They had to run 26 laps. Research was done about Marathon.  They also measured 26 in different units.  He had a great time.

Leah and I planted flowers.

She picked out the pink and purple ones.

Michael worked for two days straight in the yard.  It is looking so much better.  He even fixed the lawn mower!  He is so handy!

Fairview Half

It was a busy week, with Michael off in Boston, but I got to run it out this Saturday.  My friend Elise drove into town for it.  My friend Jennie and brother in law Tony ran their the half for the first time.  We had perfect weather!  Jenny and Rylan came with us and cheered us on and took all these great pictures!  Thank you!
We are all still smiling at the end!  I finished with my best time!  I was quite proud because the course was so hilly and I hadn't gotten much sleep all week.  :)

Tony did great and made it through to the end.  He loved the gummy bears that were given out during the race.

Jennie even had a fist pump at the end.  She made her goal!

This race gives out awesome medals!  I love running with friends!  I am so grateful for friends!  I was even able to hang out with the girls in the evening.  It was nice to catching up and visiting with friends.

Elise did great!  After not sleeping very well, she finished strong!  It was great to see her and her family!  We miss them so much!  We will have to drive out to visit them soon!

Happy Easter!

Joshua had his Boat Regatta this week.  The boys did a great job.  They let Dallin participate.  Joshua ended up in second place.  Dallin could only do it for fun, and not allowed to place.  He won quite a few races.

All the boys had a great time!

We had a fun Easter egg hunt with Aunt Jenny and Uncle Tony.  The kids had fun finding their eggs.   Easter is so fun, and the weather was perfect.

We dyed some Easter eggs.

Leah's were all pink of course.  :)

Easter morning they came out to baskets full of goodies.

They hunted around for a few more eggs full of candy.

The boys are getting fast at finding their eggs.

The kids each got some new shorts and shirt to wear.  I love Easter and the reminder that Jesus died and  was Resurrected and we can all return to live with Him again.  Happy Easter!
