Spring, Happy Birthday Michael, Soccer, and Lawn Mowing

Spring is here so we have been playing outside quite a bit.  We have been playing at the park a few times a week.

.
We have also been playing at the Arboretum

Leah and Evan had fun with their cousins and new friend.

The tulips are so pretty!

Michael had a Birthday!  We celebrated today with cake, pizza and a dart gun war.  Michael got lots of nice gifts, texts, and phone calls.  We are so lucky to have him in our lives!  He is the best!

After school we have been heading outside to play!  I love this time of year!

The boys had their first soccer game.  Dallin scored a goal, and his team played great!  Michael coaches Dallin's team.

Tony coaches Joshua's team and they did great as well!  Joshua played hard!

Michael taught the boys to mow the lawn today.  They both enjoyed it for now.  :)

Killing me with Cuteness!

We got to watch Leah's last ballet class.  We usually have to sit outside and can't watch.
These girls are adorable.  Leah got to lead, which she loves to do.

It is nice to see all that she has learned.

She has a few of the positions down.

She listens well to her teacher, which makes me proud.  :)

This Leah with her teacher and entire class.

The teacher is so good with them.  It was so cute to watch.  I am glad the boys got to watch too.  Leah has to sit through all of their soccer games, so I was glad they could support her.

Aunt Jenny took the pictures for me.  :)  Thank you!

Spring Break

The kids had a week out of school for Spring break.  It has been raining and cloudy and still was most of the week.  We got a trip to the Arboretum in.  I love the picture above how the all look so somber.

Leah wanted her picture with the flowers.  We love being outside and it has been so muddy that the kids haven't been out there as much as usual.

The kids love to dance on the stage.  It was fun to watch them.

I love this picture.  I love how they are all sitting by their buddy that is the same age.  We had fun with our friends at the Arboretum.

They added a new water fall and rock cave.  The kids loved it.

The kids love looking at the water and the fake fossils in the cave.

The boys wanted their picture taken from inside the cave.

The ponds were stocked with coy.  The kids loved watching them swim.

We were being a little silly.  It has rained a lot and is super muddy, so we have been stuck indoors.  We wanted to take a short trip to visit friends, but that didn't work out.  I was bummed.  We'll have to plan a trip soon.  Cabin fever is striking us here in this household.

Leah is finishing up ballet.  She has loved it but I think she ready for a break. The boys start soccer next week.  Life never slows down.

Fun in the Snow

We had a blast with the snow.  We don't get it that often so when we do we play in it until it is gone.
It was melting fast by the afternoon so the kids pulled the sled from snow to mud.
Our snow man was gone by the afternoon.  The neighborhood had some great ones, and it was fun walking around and see what everyone had made.

We had to make our snow angels.

Dallin doesn't usually pose for pictures so when he does I have to include it.  :)

Now we get to enjoy spring break!

We've Been Busy

Joshua had a talent show for scouts.  He showed off his balloon making skills.

He received his bobcat  and some other awards.  The banquet was really nice!  He has some great leaders.

We got snow here and the kids loved it!

Evan had a Birthday!  I can't believe my baby is two!  He is growing way too fast!

He is weighing in at 28 pounds and 35 1/2 inches tall.  He is healthy and quite the snuggler.

Evan has a huge sweet tooth so he was pretty happy about his cake!  Grandma and Grandpa West came for the Jessica's baby blessing, so Evan had got to enjoy them for his Birthday.

It was fun to have family around and celebrate baby Peter and listen to his sweet blessing.

I guess I was too busy to take too many pictures.  I guess that means we had fun.

We are having another snow day today.  We got four inches last night.  We had fun building our snowman.

Kid Update

Joshua was JFK in his school preformance.  He did a great job with his line.  He now loves JFK.  We have read many books, and I have watched lots of YouTube videos of his speeches.  He now wants to be President one day.  He loved how he had secret service to protect him and how everyone had to stand when he walked in a room.

The preformance was great, and it was fun to go and see all of their hard work.

Leah is working hard at home with me.  We have been working really hard at writing our letters.  She is still loving ballet and shows me many dances that she makes up.  She also loves to comb my hair.  She plays well with her brothers and loves to sing.

Dallin is doing well in school.  He is reading very well.  He is starting soccer soon and is looking forward to it.  He loves playing videos games and playing with legos.  I just got put in on the executive PTA Board at his school, so Dallin gets to see me at school more often.

My baby is turning two soon.  He is sleeping in a twin bed and talking a lot more.  He is getting big so fast. He still loves to cuddle.  He loves to play with cars and action figures.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Joshua worked hard on his project for school.  He had to recreat the WWII Memorial.  I think he did a pretty good job.  He will be in his first play on Tuesday.  I am excited to see how he does.

I made heart shape pizza for Valentine's Day!

The kids got plenty of candy. Michael got me a nice gift and made delicious cheesecake.  I got a Michael and little something and made the pizza.  All in all and not a bad day.

Leah and Evan went to a Birthday party with me on Saturday.  Leah had a blast in the bounce house.  Evan wouldn't go near the thing.  I forced him in once when it was empty but he wouldn't let me go.  He only enjoyed jumping when I was holding him.  Evan ended up getting sick afterwards.  I think perhaps an overload of sugar.

I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day!
